    Wallabies 2023

You know someone at RA is going to have some explaining to do as to why they can’t follow a simple directive from head office.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but he plays on the ball abit at the breakdown too doesn’t he? Something which we really lack in our pack at the moment. Agree with the above that it will be very tough for any Rookie to get a start - but then you never know what other injuries might come up. Certainly...

Haha - very good Cyclo. I’d like that twice if I could.

You know how it is Cyclo - everyone loves the Tahs in December/January.

Yes, the Brumbies do have a great tradition of developing home grown talent.

Doesn’t he just. I don’t know anything about him and it’s always a mistake to get too excited about a highlight reel but he would seem to tick a lot of the right boxes - - test rugby standard rather than a rookie - would add some explosiveness to our pack which would provide some balance...

Yeah - sorry, meant to say if anything happened to Valetini. If he’s fit agree that Harris is not in the picture.

Not to take away at all from DDowns contribution to Trevor King’s development but he is a product of Onehunga Mata’auiu’s rugby skills Academy from CQ. As is Theo Fourie and pretty sure Noah Hartley. One is also Lucas Ripley’s uncle and I understand heavily involved in his development. There are...

That’s disappointing. Do we assume that means the Rebels have targeted him?

Wright’s a quality player - but not an 8. Could maybe fill in there but he is really a 6 or 7. I think he’s a fair way behind in the pecking order though. I don’t think there will be many new players in the tests this year but one guy who could feature is Harris.

    Aussie Player Exodus

I feel for the coaches though. Our depth was so poor that a lot of guys have been promoted ahead of time. I’m hoping that we are coming to the end of that.

I just thought it was clear enough Gleeson wasn’t ready. Don’t get wrong - impressive young guy. Will be very good in a few years. Ironically someone who could’ve really benefitted from a full offseason. Personally I’m not even sure he is in the Tahs best backrow - but then I really rate Harris...

Did Gleeson really deserve his shot though. He played well for Australia A but the EOYT confirmed he is a long way from ready for tests. And I thought that was obvious before the tour. Wilson may not be killing if at test level, but he makes his tackles and clean outs, has a better work rate...

Tuilima has joined the Rebels. Hopefully we can keep his younger brother though.

    Reds 2023

Leaving aside comments in those two specifically every squad will have a level of injuries and, at some point in the season every team will have 8-10 guys out. I do think we are in a better place than in previous years to deal with that except at prop. As it stands presently if we have 3...

I would suggest on that team if is Daugunu being selected over Flook. I personally expect both Petaia and Flook to be in the staring XV with Flook most likely wearing 13 & Petaia on the wing.
