    Reds 2016

I rate your chances too. For me, if the Reds don't win it could be the start of something ugly. ;)

RWC 2015 Final - Australia v New Zealand, Twickenham, Sunday 1 November, 3:00 AEDT

I'd classify it as very odd. You don't get many chances at a RWC winners medal and to give it away to some kid who tried to breach security protocols is totally weird. But SBW always has travelled to the beat of a different drum.

    RWC: ARG v SA - 3RD-PLACE PLAYOFF

I agree, but that's where it starts. Look at how Cheik has transformed our play by starting with the right gameplan. Remember how dismal we looked by just playing what's in front of us.

RWC 2015 Final - Australia v New Zealand, Twickenham, Sunday 1 November, 3:00 AEDT

You're absolutely right Lorenzo. Australia should just forfeit now its so out-ranked. Invoke the mercy rule. Funny how this team of superheroes hasn't won every game this year by 100+ to 0.

RWC 2015 Final - Australia v New Zealand, Twickenham, Sunday 1 November, 3:00 AEDT

I worry a lot! Too much, people tell me. BUT... Between 50 and 70 minutes last week we looked tired, very tired. Only the replacements had some zip (Holmes, TPN, Smith, To'omua). Its been a very long and hard campaign and if we don't spend most of this week resting I think we could run out of...

RWC 2015 Semi Final 2 - Australia v Argentina Twickenham, Monday 19 October, 2:45 AEDT

Haven't yet watched my replay but live I don't recall getting all upset with our wingers' defence. Doubt AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper)'s misses will be an issue, he's normally very reliable. Probably a result of either: Wingers who were back to collect a possible kick suddenly having to get up into the line to cover a...

RWC 2015 Final - Australia v New Zealand, Twickenham, Sunday 1 November, 3:00 AEDT

His tackle completion % was at some stage under 50% in Super Rugby this year and I think ended up about 55% by the end. If you think that's good you must follow the Blues!

RWC 2015 Final - Australia v New Zealand, Twickenham, Sunday 1 November, 3:00 AEDT

Well the tournament is almost done and, as happens all too rarely, the best two teams are in the final: New Zealand has got there by just doing as much as they had to do to win. Against France they ran away with it but that match was still close until the card and France dropped their intensity...

Brave, but very limited. We should have had them down 3 tries before they scored their first. That we didn't set the tone for the night.

IF NZ and Aust meet ........

This thread is not a good sign of a healthy understanding of how knockout tournament rugby works. The winner has to play three games in three weeks in which the team has to perform at virtually 100%. All sorts of extraneous issues can interdict the best team doing that, from weather, injury...

RWC QF 4 AUS v SCO (Twickenham) 19th Oct 0200 AEDT

I saw most of the Scotland Samoa game and the Scots were diabolically bad. They played no rugby except for rolling mauls and Samoa were clearly the better team everywhere but the scoreboard. I've said before that the IRB's refusal to do anything about fixing the maul problem would hurt some...

RWC: AUS v WAL (Twickenham): POOL A; 2:45am (AEDT) Sunday 11 October

One man's sweet is another man's bitter. But unless you've got another angle or extra footage I don't think it'll get a second look because its the delayed holding on to Pocock's foot that causes the contact.that causes

RWC: AUS v WAL (Twickenham): POOL A; 2:45am (AEDT) Sunday 11 October

Ha Ha! Wayne Smith was amazed to see what the Wallabies had done. He then decided the Wallabies couldn't believe what they had done. The technical term is transference - its not very healthy!

RWC: AUS v WAL (Twickenham): POOL A; 2:45am (AEDT) Sunday 11 October

With Anscombe at 15 and Williams at 11 I reckon he's going to run it from wherever he can. Anscombe is very good on kick receipt and running back and will need to be closely watched. Kicks have to go away from him. Backrow has plenty of mobility too.

RWC: AUS v WAL (Twickenham): POOL A; 2:45am (AEDT) Sunday 11 October

Why is playing Anscombe at 15 silly buggers? Anscombe has played 15 for almost all his time at the Chiefs because they have lots of good 10's. He has played very well there.
