Likely won't be dropped. This is not the Chieka era anymore. I don't believe Rennie has many favourites and I doubt he would hesitate to drop even the Captain for poor form (or someone with better form). But on form, he will not be dropped.

Thats a really good point. I wonder who's accuracy at the breakdown (cleaning out) and ball running is best: Hanigan - Poor ball running but hits a lot of rucks Wilson - jack of all trades but master or none (yet) Nasia - good ball runner but not sure on accuracy at breakdown cleanouts Samu -...

I agree. But to fair (playing devils advocate), he does have some hard comparisons in the 7 jersey. We have been blessed with two of the world's best in George Smith and David Pocock. Comparing his game to these two, you are always going to fall short somewhere.

That's true. But there is evidence in Super Rugby Banks is good at this. Way more evidence favoring Banks general play kicking over Hodge at fullback. That's all we can do. Look at the evidence at hand.

Wright more muscle then Hooper? What have you been smoking? Hooper is a very psychical player. He tackles hard. Wright probably hits more breakdowns (although I even doubt that) but that's just different styles of play. Plus Hooper is proven at Test level and Wright has a bit too prove...

If you want to pin them in their own half then Banks is the better option. Hodge has a big boot but is fairly slow and inaccurate. Banks kicks long and accurate and is the best under the high ball in Aus. If you want some attacking variation then Hodge would be the better option. Not sure how...

Bledisloe #4 New Zealand vs Australia Nov 7 2020

Yeh I'm changing my opinion on the Reds. Initially I thought yellow card on the day, but now I think both are easily Red. Any contact to the head is just too dangerous to let go. Both players should either go much lower or remove force. Although I'd still support a sending off of only 10min (I...

I disagree. I would agree from a player performance perspective but tactically we were far inferior. Plus you can't really argue a 3-0 series loss, that's pretty damn comprehensive.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

If it's just sports, wouldn't it be heaps cheaper to just go with Kayo?

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Fair enough. I've never had Foxtel before. I just have a feeling Netflix and Kayo together would be cheaper and cover everything.

What value do you get with foxtel?

Fuck goodbye Netflix and Kayo, Hello Stan.

Folau was one of the best if not the best broken play runner and finisher in the game, with the best jump and high ball skills in the game bar none. He was a bad example to use because those athletic abilities were something special. So I agree with what you said. However, as athletic as...

No, I feel 15 should be a player with great vision, and a kicking game. Something Folau was limited with. Plus jumping and catching isn't something our current crop of fullbacks are missing: DHP, Banks.

I agree with this. Stats don't tell the full story. Although I watched most of the NRL this year during covid, and I didn't anything from Vunivalu to show he is a good defender. On the positive, he has a massive jump, speed, and can finish pretty well but that's also hard to judge because he...

But it wasn't one stat. It was 5 different stats put together which tells a story that he often gets caught out in defense. I'm not sold on him. Yet.

He's been average in League for last the 2 years. Apart from one or two moments in a whole year.

Bledisloe #4 New Zealand vs Australia Nov 7 2020

No one is saying they shouldn't protect the players. But I think most people just want the contest to continue. Having a red card result with a player sent off for 10mins only then allowed to be replaced would allow the contest to continue. You can still have accountability and protect the...

Bledisloe #4 New Zealand vs Australia Nov 7 2020

I agree, a red card ruins the game and the spectacle for the fans. Ironically, Swinton getting a red and evening up the teams made the game more enjoyable to watch.
