Wallabies v Pumas, Bankwest (Parra), Sat 5th December

His body height was so high in the tackle, what did he expect.

Wallabies v Pumas, Bankwest (Parra), Sat 5th December

Not just this game though, pretty poor decision making through-out the Test season this year.

Yeh some strange calls. Opts against taking kicking for points, then chooses to kick when we have a yellow card advantage. He's done this twice this tournament.

Yeah this is the disappointing part, they look worse then game 1.

should start attacking with players on our knees, they'll never be able to tackle us

    Wallabies 2020

Except there was no covid-19 season in Dean's tenure. A full season of Super XV or Super 12, is not equivalent to one season of Super Rugby AU. They have played maybe 1 games against a much stronger NZ or SA team. Although I do agree, the difference is not huge. BUT there is a difference, in...

    Wallabies 2020

All those players have multiple super xv seasons under there belts on top of those caps. Rennie has inherited players who don't even have 1 proper super xv season under there belt.

    Reds 2021

True about To'omua, but his form has been good. Yes I think it is, given he has very little experience at 12. Maybe 2 games his whole career at 12, and we expect him to go straight back into wallaby 12? That is very unlikely IMO.

    Reds 2021

You want to bench the wallaby 12. Crazy. If Hamish earns his 12 sport, then I'd look at shifting Pasiamis to 13, and then Petaia to wing for a short period. That'll teach him to pass to his wingers. Long-term Petaia to 13, and Paisami to 12. PLEASE!

I agree, I think Wilson balances out the pack much better. Isi really only brings ball running ability, I don't recall him ever having a great work-rate: hitting heaps of rucks, or even tackling the house down.

    Wallabies 2020

But Rennie dropped Hanigan for Swinton in search of more impact, and in his interviews has praised Swintons "edge" in the first 30mins. If Swinton was avaliable I have no doubt he would be the 6. So hard to say Rennie favours the workhorse. Maybe he just favours more dynamic players who can...

    Australia v Argentina - 21 November, Newcastle

I agree with this. Even as a Brumbies fan, Tupou is better then AAA in almost every facet besides discipline and maybe leadership if count Captaincy skills. Tupou should be regarded as first choice. But given props usually only play 40mins, it still can make sense for Tupou to come on exactly...

    Australia v Argentina - 21 November, Newcastle

Absolutely, it is pretty amazing how little experience many of the players have. We have the remember this year there was no real super XV comp, so they barely played 1 game against a professional NZ or SA opposition in there lifetimes.

    Australia v Argentina - 21 November, Newcastle

Interesting Rennie doesn't seem big on impact players on the bench. He seems to be picking players to "have a look at them" or based on overall skillset over 80mins i.e. Gordon over Tate. I like Rennie and don't mind the majority of his selections and tactics, but my one big criticism is his...

    Australia v Argentina - 21 November, Newcastle

I see can where BR is coming from. Something about Koro just doesn't seem 'natural'. Koro is like a one dimensional freight-train, he is a strong as hell runner, puts on a good hit, is all effort and determination but I agree he is no rugby brain. When his low percentage play on defense comes...
