    RWC - Wallabies v Ireland - 17th September 2011

Come off it mate, he was bad, but its nothing to do with this ridiculous notion of north vs south.

Its not the fact that other teams 'cheat', its the fact that more than often the referees will let teams get away with it. Obviously team are going to push the rules if it means you win the game, but just because it happens doesn't make it right.

Honestly mate they are the two worst, Kaplan and Munro get honourable mentions. You fail to acknowledge we appreciate good referees as well. There is a massive thread on the first page praising Mark Lawrence. Likewise Nigel Owens and yes, Wayne Barnes. Joubert isnt too bad either. Certain...

I agree that you have to play to the ref and that the kiwi's do this much better than us. But Bryce Lawrence is shit, he should never have been there in the first place, and tonight he proved us all right. He was shit to both teams, but he was shit in a way that stifled our gameplan, and I would...

Well done Ireland. You exploited our weaknesses, built pressure and seized your opportunities. Truly a team that is more than the sum of it's parts, something we haven't been for a very long time.

Why no plan b for when your original gameplan is fucking stupid?

Deans cant survive if we dont make the finals. It looks like we dont have a gameplan.

    Recruitment post World Cup

Good thread but, namibian fullback botha looks pretty handy. Canadian and American outside centres are both very decent players. Japanese scrummy was quite good as well. I'd love to see the reds fill their marque spot with a decent foreign prop. Lots of them running around.

Yeah he only scored 2 what a failure.

    Mark Lawrence Retires

Its not because he's a kiwi, its because he's doing a bit of a shit job at the moment. ???? lol

    Farr-Jones ?traitor

I think in that case quades niggle put richie off his game a bit which was to the benefit of the wallabies.

Channel 9 continues the tradition of absymal free to air rugby coverage...

They could also be sold-on to ONE HD, which is supposed to be a sports channel although they mostly show re-runs of cops now days. Which is a cracking show none the less.

The irish backrow is good, but they are not better than the kiwi's.

Digby Ioane with suspected broken hand

This is something you would never see on a mungo forum, the doctors talking.

    RWC - Wallabies v Ireland - 17th September 2011

I wouldn't even say they are hiding him anymore. He's a lot more useful defending from the back and counter attacking than he is in the front line making tackles and being taken out of the next phase.

    Rebels 2012

Why not, he wants to play and the rebels look like his only option. Its not like they are going to throw money at him, it will just be a short contract he'll add a bit of backrow depth and nothing more. Flanker is one of the easier positions to slide guys into, not an much combo work needs to be...

Digby Ioane with suspected broken hand

Shmoo is a great player, but I doubt he would have scored that try digby did on the weekend. He has other strengths to his game that digby doesn't, but from 20/30 metres out with a bit of front foot ball from quade, digby is most useful player you could ever ask for.
