    Brumbies 2012

The telegraph is mischeviously reporting that Jake White will not be deserting the Brumbies to coach England.

    Aussies abroad 2011-12

The other guy I would like to see more in action is Luke Burgess. The highlights I've caught from the Toulouse site have him making plenty of trademark snipes around the edge of the ruck and continuing the great form that wasn't really utilised in the RWC.

    Aussies abroad 2011-12

Gits certainly didn't look out of place in that company, he scampered across the ground pretty well in a bit of space. I've relied on youtube for glimpses of Chambers for Munster but looks like he has made a solid start. He carried well and recycled three times in the 41 phases to ROG's winning...

    Aussies abroad 2011-12

My favourite southern-hemisphere-off-season pastime has become keeping an eye on expat Australians in NH rugby. (This over-in-a-blink EOYT notwithstanding). The fees for Setanta are apparently a step too far with the financial comptroller. I rely on the generosity of strangers (youtube...

Great idea and great article, guys. I expect to see it plagiarized soon in my local media outlet.

RWC FINAL - New Zealand vs France

Any...way. Big congratulations to the All Blacks and to their supporters. I tip my hat to the relatively silent majority who don't revel in the injuries, misfortune and mistakes of other teams but celebrate the beautiful game played well.

RWC FINAL - New Zealand vs France

It was a great game. It was clear in the first 10 minutes that the coin had come down heads and France had really turned up with intent and a plan. The All Blacks really had to earn it, and hats off to them. They were able to keep their composure against a French side playing amazing rugby...

3rd Place Play Off - Wallabies v Wales.

Bored with booing. Bored with talking about booing.

3rd Place Play Off - Wallabies v Wales.

Sheesh, that's the only thing the little finger has done right with the ball all RWC. He should get a pat on the back, not a kick in the arse.

3rd Place Play Off - Wallabies v Wales.

I know we like to whinge about other sides slowing the pace of the game, but has TPN just not had the base level of fitness after his injuries this year to keep up with Test rugby?

3rd Place Play Off - Wallabies v Wales.

Sadly, based on TPN's current form, the question of whether he should start or Fainga'a is actually a very real dilemma. Either way this is not a strong front row, and the scrum is the obvious weakness for us tonight. I hope that TPN has a great off season and a chance to really reset for super...

Australia: now the worlds most hated team, and whinging saffas.

Being a wallaby supporter is about more than buying a jersey and acting like a dick in public. Backstabbing pricks.

    Robbie Deans

You can see how that would convince. For the wallabies, not building on this experience - rebuilding from scratch - would be throwing the baby out with the bath water. Having said that, I don't think Deans is necessarily the only or the best person to do it. And the crapulence of our restarts...

    Robbie Deans

It did get better. Effort wasn't the problem on Sunday. Things didn't fall for him, the kickoff went out by a foot and he can't have tried any harder to catch that high ball, it's the sort of thing that trying harder doesn't fix. Then it started to click. Pulling him was definitely an option...
