Digby Ioane with suspected broken hand

Media seems to be pretty consistently reporting it's his thumb since the first reports, so hopefully it is 'just' something undisplaced, proximal 1st metacarpal.

Wallabies without O'Connor just aint the same

Just a self-correction. While the clarkoid called it AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) dropping virtually the same pass at 4:24, it was Fingers. That'll teach me to keep one eye on the kids. Two handling errors in what - three carries? Not great, for all that it was wet. Certainly would put Beale and Cooper off passing to...

Wallabies without O'Connor just aint the same

AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) dropped a similar pass cold in the first twenty minutes. The only way 13 is going to see the ball outside McCabe at 12 when they are playing fairly close, as they were appropriately doing in the wet of the first half, is if Cooper sees him on the outside of his opposite. That's not likely...

Digby Ioane with suspected broken hand

Should be able to get an MRI reported pretty much straight away. Presume base of thumb means they're checking his scaphoid?

Rugby World Cup is a Joke!!

I don't know if it is professionalism or whether the game is just growing really well in the 'minnow' countries, but every contest has been .... a contest, where both sides strive and it is wonderful to watch, even when sides have been clearly dominant. I don't know about it being a joke, but...

Digby Ioane with suspected broken hand

Time for a press release anouncing QC (Quade Cooper) will........ defend at 10! The horror....

    RWC - Wallabies v Italy - 11th September 2011

I turned to my bro-in-law when he dropped that pass from Pocock - which I see in the replay was to his face, but still should have been taken - and said he just dropped his spot in the run on side. The obstruction thing I thought was pretty forgivable, support play and bodies in motion Bob...

    ONE TEAM - positivity thread

Broken wallabies appear to have mended against Canada. Drew Mitchell looked 90% + which is very good Berrick Barnes didn't go off James Slipper if anything looks more like a front rower - bigger and wheezier! Proper NH fattie!

What to do with JOC (James O'Connor)?

But he didn't do a handstand, cartwheel, or even plank. The guy should be dropped.

What to do with JOC (James O'Connor)?

I don't want, believe, suspect or hallucinate Beale dropped. I just want him to play to the elite level he can - by not pushing his options. The only person who should be chip kicking is Higginbotbot, FFS. ;)

Kurtley Beale & Quade Cooper (2011 test form)

I agree, with the proviso that here are times in your 22 when taking the tackle is a turnover waiting to happen (fielding a kick just out from your goal line with the hounds of hades lining you up) and the miracle kick, offload or step is an option with enormous positive benefits if it comes...

Last Tri Ever: GAGR Wallabies vs. All Blacks MOM

Horwill seemed able to ignore the advertising. 3. Samo 2. Vickerman 1. Genia no bad wallabies this time around - just a naughty one.

    Aussie Baa Baa's Vs Canada

He made a couple of good runs in contact showing some of the balance and power he had pre-injury - I was pleasantly surprised. It wasn't the ABs though. Pacewise - not sure.

    Aussie Baa Baa's Vs Canada

Guildford is brisk, but then so is Rod Davies. (Who I thought had goodish touches whenever I looked down to the laptop and saw him but is a real target for vitriol round here). Back off topic, Guildford does not seem to challenge too many defenders - which makes you wonder why he is running for...

QC (Quade Cooper) cited for knee on McCaw

I think McCaw does niggle QC (Quade Cooper), and it throws QC (Quade Cooper), which is a good reason to do it. McCaw is just much better at making it legal or invisible, while QC (Quade Cooper) tends to respond, like all aspects of his game, in extravagant and gratuitous fashion.

Wallabies Backline for the world cup.

Wow, I feel like I just purchased an overly defensive food processor.

What to do with JOC (James O'Connor)?

It is understandable that you missed it, because it was entirely forgettable, but..... Beale grubbers at 16:56 after a superb charge by samo and good hit-up by Horwill. There were ample and able players around him (Pocock and Ioane) on a short blind to really do some damage. It goes all of 2...

    Ali Williams - haka

I didn't think it was one of their best hakas (if I have found the correct plural). The overacting is getting extreme, doing it every week is clearly affecting the quality of their performance.
