I think he was more of a Francis Saili-model 12, wasn't he? Anyone know why? I know there were some issues with the language barrier but I was hopeful that they'd get worked out as the bloke seemed to have some legitimate talent in his role as a midfield playmaker/distributor.

    S18 on its way

Before the pair of you elope, here's some numbers to chew on... Below are the month-to-month search volumes reported by Google for a set of high-level keywords I picked out for each nation's rugby team, all laid out in the same formatting for accuracy and consistency in results. I first did an...

    Reds 2015

I can honestly put up with him being a giant douche if he plays to his potential and stays out of trouble with the law. In that case, he can really just douche it up all he wants for all I care - I don't think the Reds leadership group would allow his potential douchieness to override the...

Timmay is right, Brisbane is much farther away than Sydney is.

    Aussie Player Exodus

Large guaranteed lump sums are fairly rare in general, but guaranteed money is not. Purely match-based payments is generally the stuff of semi-pro and amateur sports leagues for a reason. Players won't play for an organization if they feel the financial security provided to them isn't...

    Aussie Player Exodus

You can't strip players who have qualified for top-up status of their top-ups based on injury - this is exactly what you promoted in your other post. Read my whole post next time?

    Aussie Player Exodus

Any top-up policy based around injury would set a horrendously bad precedent and would only push players overseas by the boatload. These guys aren't getting hurt by dancing too hard in the club - it's almost always while playing for club or country. You don't take away a guy's guaranteed money...

    Western Force 2015

A non-performer in the test arena (Speight) over one of the most consistently excellent on-field performers for the Wallabies since 2010 (JOC (James O'Connor)) should have been all you needed to see to know a response was just more bait for another retarded response.

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

Uh, JOC (James O'Connor) not fast enough to play wing? What? Seriously? I just had to stop reading that post right there. I'm not sure what player you think you're talking about, but it surely isn't JOC (James O'Connor). And what's with all the talk about him being on the wing like it marries him to the sideline...

Yeah, no. Brand Genia will get him a contract even if he's carrying injury.

I like the zones scheme in terms of helping kids who have realistically probably only been playing for 3-4 years (if that) in terms of making it easier for them to react appropriately when under pressure, based on field position. That playbook looks way too similar to the ones from the...

Liam Gel is primed for a fantastic 2015 season.

    Reds 2015

You'd think Ant or Tapuai. If Kerevi goes down Reds just need to shift the point of attack back to the 9-10 channel and 15-11/15-14 channel ala Reds 2011. With Kerevi we can hit anywhere in the back line which is nice to be able to say.

    Wales v Australia

If Liam brings his NRC form over he should have a very strong season. He was a force of nature in the final against Perth. RS - thank you for sharing the photos of this and the England match, love them.

Much better than Izzy. His kicking at Biarritz is what really matters anyway and it was very good, they used him for territorial stuff pretty regularly based on the film I've watched.

I was thinking about this as well and I think it's impossible to say that they haven't - lots of passive defense in those clips making Flatley look like even more of an animal than he already was.

I know these are just highlights (and from a bygone era, too) but the back line just looks so much more structured in this clips than I can remember seeing at any level of consistency for a while. Everyone just seems to know where they need to be and how to time their run. When the attack is...

    Reds 2015

Lots of monitoring/manipulating sodium intake and manipulating hydration levels. Lots. Diuretics, saunas, sweat suits, doing burpees in the bathroom with the shower running and the door sealed with a towel under it while wearing a full track suit. The biggest "trick" is just dealing with it...
