Yes, curious QH. Im not sure whether he played on JSCs but very surprsing if he did and deemed not good enough

Though Gordon won the JSC 15s, there were only 29 lads that trialled, so only 4 didnt make the squad of 25. I understand that Norths (runners up) also struggled to get a squad together. Retention is a real problem right across club rugby. Interestingly, some that didnt trial had played JGC...

Thanks for the heads up GO III. Are these on a website somewhere do you know? They don't appear to be up on NSWJRU or SJRU.

Gordon won u15s metro final 15-7 over norths. Central Coast 10-7 over Illawarra in country final. Now bizarrely several rounds of sudden death before state final tmrw arv.

On the contrary - very competitive here in Mudgee. The 15 min halves have proven a great leveller. Norths beat Parra 12 - 5 to get to semi v warringah. Gordon won all of their pool matches to make the other semi v Parra, but looked rusty. Parra looked big, fast and fit, and had everyone...

Always hard to predict as boys can change so much physically and mentally between 14-17, and many in older years will be more focused on playing for school 16As/1st XV. Hopefully selections will be entirely based on form at the SJCs and for the zone teams. For what its worth, here are last...

I hear Waves 15As went down by a point to Aloys yesterday. With Knox undefeated after five rounds will be hard for Waves to run them down from here. Anyone know result in W v A 16As?

I think CNorth's concerns will prove unfounded - its not hard to see a very strong NSW team being selected from the talent that will be on display at Mudgee next weekend. ACT were never part of the NSW selection cohort and key talent from Illawarra is still there or playing with Blacktown /...

Concern I would think for RV was despite a scrum which dominated Joeys at times today, and a superb knock by ex-center turned 8, the backline never looked like getting over their opposites except for RV 14. I think they had a decent platform for much of the match but simply couldnt exploit it.

Shore does seem to have the least manipulable of the 'locked' waiting lists. As indicated above, 4 generations typically count for nought, unless you have the fountain pen poised at the birth font so to speak. Possible exception for Wallaby progeny (yes, not necessarily evident in recent results)?

I don't think there's any sceptics amongst the opposition Thomo. From the far side at best they might be hoping that the pool of death (B) takes a toll on all who participate and leaves a wobbly team standing at semi final time. Otherwise Musika and the lads might have a field day!

I think this might underestimate Parra if they get a reasonable no of last years premiership winning u14s Blacktown side. And Hunters down to 9? Certainly wasn't the case a few weeks ago but they could have been hit with significant injury toll.
