    Wallabies 2023

Samu has been brilliant this year.
  2. Wallaby Man

    Rebels 2023

Reds/Rebels I spent 8yrs in Melbourne and got to know a few of the guys at the club. They have all moved on now, but still have a keen eye on the team. Back in QLD now tho, where I am originally from.

    Rebels 2023

He played a couple off the bench, just had two serious injuries back to back. Still only 23, would love to see him back in 7s Tuqiri would be great if he links up with the Drua Worth eligible for Aus but no more than a Super Rugby squad player but adds a lot of flexibility can play across the entire...

    Rebels 2023

Alright video out in the last few minutes from the club for awards night can prob add to the list moving Jeral Skelton George Worth Emosi Tuqiri Tom Nowlan

    Rebels 2023

It’s just a conclusion I made from a photo I saw of him. Seen a few of the guys that are leaving awarded a framed plaque, Van Nek also had one, maybe complete coincidence and it was awarded for something else. But seemed unlikely as a one off. Once again pure speculation. If ends up being...

    Rebels 2023

Van Nek I believe was part of the Rebels parting players tribute on awards night. Not 100% on this tho. Could be a good pick up for a few of the other Aus Super Rugby sides

    Rebels 2023

The transition had been happening in the last month of the season. Wells consistently one of the first forwards subbed off with 20-25 to go. Despite been the captain and an 80min player. Philip took the reigns from there. Pretty confident it will be Philip but a bolter would be Wilkin.

    Rebels 2023

Rebels have Kemeny who will be hopeful fit next year. He’s at the stage where needs to be playing each week, they also see Canham as a potential 6. Add Leota and Ioane someone had to go. Obviously kept their highest profile (Leota), the guy who played the majority of the previous season at 6 and...

    Reds 2023

I’m not even sure if he started well. Got yanked from the field before half time against the Tahs in the early rounds. From memory gave up a silly yellow, saw out his 10mins but didn’t return as coach decided Ready was doing a better job
  10. Wallaby Man

    Force 2023

Good signing for Force. Guess the return of Kemeny (hopefully fit) will mean there is less space to fit everyone in backrow at Rebels.
  11. Wallaby Man

    Reds 2023

There is a lot of players out there with equal potential as Mack Mason that had even less opportunities to impress, that wish they had the mythology around them that Mason seems to have in the minds of many. He’s the reverse Michael Hooper who was blamed and criticized for the first half of his...

    Rebels 2023

Actually performed pretty well this year, surprised didn’t get more game time. I guess they went the longer term option with Ripley once season was over. NRL or Moana might be the right options for him
  13. Wallaby Man

    Rebels 2023

Excellent news. Pone next on the ‘to do’ list
  14. Wallaby Man

    Force 2023

    Two quality players
  15. Wallaby Man

    Rebels 2023

His brother I think is the one most at risk heading north in the future. Reds get 1 more year out of JOC (James O'Connor) then Mason Gordon at Reds 2024 to fight it out with Lynagh. Will get some game time at fullback and off the bench in the coming season to keep him around.
  16. Wallaby Man

    Rebels 2023

Focus for Rebels surely now must be Pone, Uelese and Gibbon.
  17. Wallaby Man

    Aussie Player Exodus

The Rugby Paper (UK) reporting that Sio is talking to Ealing. The money wouldn’t be that great so surely another Aus team can at least keep him for another year
  18. Wallaby Man

    Wallabies 2023

Just my opinion but Wilson is currently overrated. Doesn’t bend the line, rarely breaks tackles, etc. he will be a star but isn’t the player people think he currently is and won’t be for a few years. Has potential to be world class but isn’t impactful enough to be currently classified as...

    Super Rugby 2022

I think people will find the Drua are more a pathway team to other opportunities than a direct link to the national team. Most those Drua players won’t be selected over more established and currently better players in Europe. The Brums potentially will be more affected with national players than...

    Super Rugby 2022

No idea which thread to put this in but listened to the western force focused podcast today with Tim Anstee he let it slip that the clubs are looking at playing each other later in the year and on a different note the Force are also looking at touring Japan, I presume other clubs will be looking...
