    Reds 2023

If you look at the list NSW is clearly the ones getting stooged, especially for top tier talent. Hardly any of the QLD roots players would get a look in against their Reds counterparts and are even at best bits and pieces players at the Rebels. in fact Tuttle, Vaihu and Wilkin the only...

    Reds 2023

The $2m profit from last year must of been sucked up by inflation. I personally blame Putin that I’ll have to pay more for my membership next year
  3. Wallaby Man

    Reds 2023

You do realise there is hardly any Reds in the Rebels team this year LH - Gibbon (no) Orr (No) Kailea (no) Hk - Uelese (no) Hanson (yep) Ma’afu (yes) TH - Eloff (no) Fa’amasuili (no) Van Nek (yes) Lk - Philip (no), Canham (no), Hosea (no although did 1yr of schooling in QLD) RHP (no) Nowlan...

    Reds 2023

Jeez we really need to get some games into some of these guys at a professional level to keep them around. Guys need to feel like they are a professional player and not a professional tackle bag holder. Honestly think if we could get some SRAU comp announced while the wallabies are away, a lot...

    Rebels 2023

As someone that’s spent a lot of time in several local comps across Aus (primarily Prem rugby and Dewar) there is a continued myth around grassroots rugby, that’s spoken like it’s gospel. Almost like when mothers used to say don’t swim after you eat. It doesn’t overly matter how strong your...

    Rebels 2023

In fairness the To’omua leaving rumour was also reported in yesterday’s SMH
  7. Wallaby Man

    Rebels 2023

With To'omua going by the sounds of it, the Rebels are shockingly short for cover at 10/12. Surely they have someone lined up. Even by miracle Kerevi comes onboard it doesn’t solve the back up 10 issue. Unless they are looking at a 10/15 option with Hodge shifting into another role.

    Rebels 2023

He’s someone that if he stays fit could have significantly more value in 12months than if he took a multi year on current value.

    Rebels 2023

Some of these 1yr deals I wonder if players are hopeful of a tv rights increase and therefore some extra $$$ to start 2024.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

I believe there is big support behind the SRAU into a Champions Cup style format from Aus sides. With Japanese/NZ involvement in that. At worse they can get NZ to commit more money to the partnership. Which will help retain players.

Australia A - Back on the Cards

In my defense I didn’t add the bracketed part, very funny to whoever the mod was to do that. Deserved it

Australia A - Back on the Cards

    Haha IFL.

Australia A - Back on the Cards

It could be just a case of him wanting game time. Force have a solid no9 combo in Prior and FLW (Fergus Lee-Warner).

Australia A - Back on the Cards

    Billy Vunipola, Alec Hepburn

Australia A - Back on the Cards

Uru, Gamble and Eloff all must be some of the best non-Aus qualified Super Rugby recruitment in years. All 3 would be certain Aus A picks if they could be selected. All can and prob will play for Wallabies at some stage.

    Force 2023

Harsh to say Phipps was released. He was great for the Irish this year. From what I have read he’s picked up a contract in Japan instead of staying in the Prem

Australia A - Back on the Cards

McCauley not good enough and Canham there is other young locks that have shown a little bit more

Australia A - Back on the Cards

Wouldn’t mind seeing Trevor Hosea in the Aus A squad. He’s due to resume playing again after a bad foot break meant he missed entire Super Rugby season. Has potential to be the best of all the young locks in the country. A good rotation of Blyth, Smith and Hosea in the 3 games with Frost dropped in for...

    Waratahs 2023

If true, my money would be on the ex-Manly winger that signed this year.

    Super Rugby 2022

Super Rugby needs Auckland, Brisbane and Sydney winning a large portion of titles. Get some real markets involved instead of some regional cities winning on a consistent basis.
