    2012 S15R12 Stormers vs Waratahs @ Newlands

I reckon tahs will have the scrum, stormers will have everything else. Stormers by about 9

IRB and Unions Sanction New Law Trials

sceneario: you catch the ball in touch, and are able to move it upfield to throw in. The kick chaser is running towards your goal line to stop you taking a quick throw. You and your infiled team mate both run upfield, running past the kick chaser, and you execute a quick throw to them...

IRB and Unions Sanction New Law Trials

I hear that is the intention, and it's the way it works in some of the Euro domestic comps. If it gets rid of uncontested scrums then I am all for it. I thik the "crouch, touch, set" will get adopted as well, ther has been nothing but complaint about the extra "pause" and the IRB are great at...

What is wrong with the Tahs

with an eye to next season: 9 mckibbon, 10 foley, 11, Kingston, 12 Barnes, 13 Horne, 14 Paka, 15 AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) and here's the trick: if it doesnt work, dont immediately ditch it. Foley needs a few turns to get it at 10 so we should give them to him now when there's nothing on the line. Berrick should...

What is wrong with the Tahs

Look, I'm not proud of it, but I was very drunk and it was a once off thing.

    Julian Savea

Does he have island heritage? They'll pick him for one test

What is wrong with the Tahs

A relaunch is a good idea. How about the cats?

    Julian Savea

Isn't any winger of size touted as the next Lomu?

What is wrong with the Tahs

I thought it was more to do with the passing capability of the centrre pairing. On a few occasions the option was to go to a second distributor (like hangers) running a second line and then on to a wider winger. Instead pretty much every ball went to AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) or Horne and ended there (with one...

What is wrong with the Tahs

Having listened to the opinions of this living outside of NSW (and some within) I offer this missing link: what, precisely, do you expect the tahs fans to do? It's not like I can run for the nswru board, or try to get a coaching job there. My options are limited to either support the team, or...

    Current Wallabies team!

What I want. What I think deans will pick Robbo. Robbo Moore. Moore Kepu. Alexander Horwill. Simmons Pyle. Horwill Higgers. Elsom Pocock...

    Waratahs Vs Bulls Rnd 12

Not that it excuses it. But did anyone else see the tackler carry on after the try and twist paka's ankle? Immediate thought was him bouncing the ball off his head was a reaction to that

What is wrong with the Tahs

They won't serve beer in cans

What is wrong with the Tahs

That really pissed me off too. I was disappointed until I heard the interview, then I realised it was all over for this season if the coach thought there were positives to be had from that game. Frankly, the more positives you can point to and still lose is indicative of the lack of composure...

What is wrong with the Tahs

KB (Kurtley Beale) manages to pass the ball to where the receiver should be, forcing them to run hard to it. I noticed quade do it a lot last year as well. It takes trust as well as skill, and I doubt any of the tahs have either enough to pull it off

Does anyone else fucking hate the conga line box kick set up?

What is wrong with the Tahs

The tahs seem to be the epitome of a professional rugby team. As in, all their players are doing it for the job. With very little exception, there is absolutely no heart in it anymore. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper), Mitchell, elsom, Palu, Barnes, all good players, but not one would call the tahs their passion or their...

    Brumbies 2012

Am a huge Hewit fan - wish he was coming back to the tahs. as a wing though, not a 10

    Waratahs Vs Bulls Rnd 12

I turned down bloody good tickets for this - due to sydney traffic and the demand of family there is no physical way to get to Moore Park by 7:30. even 8:30 would be a stretch!
