    Ewen McKenzie: Wallaby Coach

Pfitzy, I made the same comments to my son yesterday. These two are examples of players who regard the Wallabies as a "group", rather than a "team"!!

    Ewen McKenzie: Wallaby Coach

That may be so, but it looks great when the wearer, (the Wallabies captain), is holding up "Bill" or the Bledisloe Cup!

    Ewen McKenzie: Wallaby Coach

Thanks for that lewisr. I raised this for two reasons, firstly if he wasn't the sole selector, there is a "shared responsibility" for the errors, and secondly, one member's post said that "Robbie Deans had to work with the team that he was given"!

    Ewen McKenzie: Wallaby Coach

I asked this question on another forum, got no answer so I'll try again: Was Robbie Deans the only Wallabies selector?

    long term coach?

Congratulations to the big fella. Mrs Doug and I are happy with this decision. Now, let's all get behind Link and his support staff and win the Castrol Edge Rugby Championship. I'll volunteer (for a humble fee) to be the Team Curfew Officer to keep these pricks out of the clubs, pubs and burger...

Australia v British & Irish Lions, 3rd Test (Sydney)

Q1: Was Deans the only selector? Q2: Does camp Wallaby still use a 'scrum machine'?

I had thought of sending Bill Pulver an email, suggesting you and The Brown Hornet go 5 x 3 min rounds (with gloves) in the centre of the field as part of the pre-match entertainment at the upcoming BC match!

I can hear it now: "Arise, Sir Warren"!

Now I know how Julia Gillard feels, (let down by the team)!!

Not sure about footy HJ, but I remember reading somewhere that he made the quarter finals of the Queensland pocket-billiards championships on three occasions, prior to becoming a pollie!!

Who usually presents the trophy at this event? I'm expecting to see plenty of vision of KRUDD tonight adorned with a Wallabies scarf. It's not beyond him to threaten to withhold visiting IRB officials' passports to get the gig!

    Wallaby Fan Buildup

G'day HJ, the usual merchandise is on display externally and internally, however, not to the extent that it was for the 2003 RWC when our daughter won the Australia-wide ARU "Show Your True Colours" competition. Prizes included a large TV, DVD player and surround sound, Tooheys and Bundy Rum...

I just watched the Big Kev and Robbie Deans 'presser' on ABC News 24. If I read the "Robbie speak" correctly, G. Smith will be in the playing squad on Saturday!

    James Horwill cited for stamping

ABC TV midday news reported: "There were no errors at law surrounding the initial decision"!! I'm happy for the coaches, players, support staff, the fans, and of course James and his family. Now that they've 'thrown out the rubbish' let's get on with the PMT (Pre-match tension)!!
