TWAS - Deans had success at Canterbury in the late 90s when the NPC was far more superior than what it is today. I'll never forget the 97 win over the Orcs. A monkey off the back, one that had been there forever. We won the final that year also. In terms of coaching, he held that gig until...

    The Wallaby 12 Conundrum

Matt Rogers definitely partnered a couple of different players in the midfield.

In excellent form too Armitage. Has added a couple of bows to his game in the last couple of seasons.

A little light hearted inoffensive humour to ease things isn't a bad thing though.

I don't think anyone has anything on TWAS....

Reading your posts Biffo, I'm not sure 'contribution' is the right word :)

Dan I'm not sure the Cruden and Beale incidents are comparable. Cruden went on a bender. This only affected him. Beale's actions as has the ARU have announced have directly affected another person in the team environment. He was stood down and it is prudent that an investigation occur. It is...

Just not in the lead up to the first test of the year aye.... :) In seriousness though, timing of when an issue is dealt with and is made public is an important issue. Jumping the gun publicly isn't helpful, nor is holding out because it may adversely impact something else. In this case we...

What's behind Harris and others reporting this so called ARU and Cheika "contact" On the OZ website a short time ago

Yeah I don't think the rumours about a relationship between McKenzie and Patston were started by the media outlets. That was coming from online chatter including here. I must say that Hooper's responses were on the squeemish side and he possibly could have handled the "should he be sacked"...

He was a decent test 12 for awhile there. He and the Evil Wizard were a good combination.

"In-house sincere heartfelt apology" = starting Wallaby 10 vs ABs That equation doesn't quite add up does it.....

Could be Beale's manager. The way that article is written does seem to paint Beale in a better light - "trying to broker a peace deal" "Patston warned against it"

It's hard to say with GR on this one. She broke the story and since then we have heard all sorts of possibilities, so sometimes when a journo gets the initial scoop, they sometimes have to play catch up with more unqualified statements like "Fairfax understands". I'm not doubting that she has...

Cyclo I'm clearly in that boat of no consequence :)

I think it's entirely appropriate for the RC to address the story. It's the biggest story right now in OZ rugby, especially with no test this weekend. What is written on this forum is really of little consequence (no matter how outrageous or implausible it might be) in my view.
