    Quarter Final - Brumbies vs Highlanders, 22 July 2016 @ 6:00pm

The Brumbies have not won a game against a tough team since mid-April. They have beaten only the Bulls, Rebels, Sunwolves, Reds and Force since their win over the Waratahs. To get a win in the quarter final will require a form reversal of techtonic proportions. You'd think the bookies will...

    Blues v Brumbies - Friday 8 July 2016

This is a far too rational comment for the internet!

    Waratahs v Hurricanes, round 16, 9 July 2016

Even the GOAT was very strong at some of his roles and weaker at others. This is why you play in a team so that weaknesses can be covered and strengths used. Mind you, the GOAT's weaker parts were still pretty strong.

    Rugby TV Ratings 2016

I'll bet those were starting numbers not finishing numbers.

    Force vs Stormers @ Perthfontein

So why is Lowrens starting in front of Prior?

Reds vs Chiefs, Fri 8th July, Suncorp Stadium

Green deserved a shot too, but he never got one. Some of those players have played for other franchises (Hames, Bird, at least).

    Waratahs v Hurricanes, round 16, 9 July 2016

Mumm vs Dempsey must have been a close decision. Reckon Cliffy will get 50 mins (+/- yellow card) and then Dennis will go to 8, Mumm to 5 and Dempsey to 6. About the same time they'll swap Lousi and Skelton. Surprised Matt Lucas is fit, he's a tough bugger despite his size. Everything is...

    Aussie Player Exodus

I was surprised the Force tipped Zack Holmes out. I always thought he played quite well behind a beaten pack. But when it comes to coaching, Foley has absolutely no clue whatever once a player has two digits on his back. Not just Foley though. Before he went to Europe, Brock James played at...

    Force vs Stormers @ Perthfontein

They could lose with a bonus point and still be in front of the Bulls, unless the Bulls get a bonus point this week. Not totally impossible considering who they play but the Bulls last week were very ordinary; you couldn't guarantee they will win this week.

But the part of the team that he is responsible for coaching looks very poor, pretty much uncoached at all. Doesn't this affect the marking in any way?

Sunwolves vs Waratahs - Saturday 2nd July 2016

Doubt we'll see him anywhere else for the Tahs this season. He provides the starch and Izzy the pizzaz. Horwitz needs more work before he is ready to start at 12.

Cheetahs v Force, Saturday, 2 July, Bloemfontein

It might be a bit of a cripple fight but the Force have to be a genuine chance this week, the Cheetahs have impressed nobody this year.

    Chiefs v Crusaders, Round 17 @ Suva

That's a very, very long injury list. All other things being equal you'd have to mark the Saders as strong favourites. Charlie Ngatai is still not fit to play. That must be a major worry for him as he is dropping down the AB pecking order week by week; and his concussion is just not healing...

Rebels Vs Stormers, Saturday July 2nd @ AAMI Park

Stormers are just one point in front of the Sharks. The Sharks are away to the Lions, a match they will probably lose. So, if the Stormers can pull a win here they are almost guaranteed a home final - their next two games are the Force and the Sunwolves. Expect the Stormers to be trying very...

    Reds 2017

Based on this year's performances (excluding Grant who is poo) it would be: Foley Lance Lilo (average performances at best) Debrecezni (even the club supporters want his head) McIntyre (who has been absolutely awful)

Wallabies vs England, Sydney, 3rd Test, 25 June @ 8:00pm

Far too few contributors to this thread are asking the question "Why, given the possession and territory stats, did we lose the last two tests?" The answer to that question lies in the performance of our attacking methods and skills. Foley has copped huge criticism for his performance, but...
