Toby Smith was used as a THP at RWC. Cheik is known to be a big fan, and Toby's having another big year. He's behind Sio & Slipper from a LHP perspective, so I figure he'll probably be the backup at 3. Would love to see Laurie in the mix though!

Strange comment to make considering LT attended the Wallaby camp and has been regularly mentioned in the squad discussion over the last 18 months...

I hadn't heard of him; seems to have good pedigree, good shout. It appears as if LT will be back next week after all so perhaps the conversation is slightly redundant however with the lack of depth in Australian second row stocks he could well form a good option for an Australian team next season.
