2016 Under-20 Rugby World Championships - Manchester UK

Rebels actually won 39-26 with that late try to the centre. It was a deserved result - they tackled like maniacs all day with some cracking hits in defence, and Nic Henderson's done a really good job with the set piece. Backrowers Harley Fox (6) & Ta Hosea (8) were the standouts, but the most...

    The Wallabies Thread

With the lack of wingers available (let's assume Mitchell isn't picked for June tests, Cummins & Speight with 7s), it's great to see Tom English hitting his 2014 form in the last couple of games. Consistently breaks the first tackle and goes looking for the ball. Cheika's always been a big fan...

    Waratahs 2016

Tilse came incredibly close to signing for the Rebels at the end of 2014

    Hurricanes Vs Force - Round 4 2016

Hurricanes vs. Force (#HURvFOR), 17:35 (AEDT) Friday March 18th: Fast fact: The first 53 Western Force points scored this year came from former Reds players; Jono Lance (34), Luke Morahan (10), Ben Tapuai (5) and Ian Prior (2). Peter Grant’s 67th minute conversion of Tapuai’s try last week broke...

    Sunwolves v Rebels - R4 - Super Rugby 2016

Sunwolves vs. Rebels (#SUNvREB), 15:15 (AEDT) Saturday March 19th: Fast fact: There could be two former Rebels players in the Sunwolves team on Saturday; front rowers Shota Horie (2013-2014) and Keita Inagaki (2015) spent time in Melbourne. Fellow International Kotaro Matsushima became the...

    Stormers vs Brumbies @ Newlands.

Stormers vs. Brumbies (#STOvBRU), 4:15 (AEDT) Sunday March 20th: Fast fact: The Brumbies have ‘5 Super Subs’: Nigel Ah-Wong, Michael Dowsett, Les Makin, Josh Mann-Rea & Jordan Smiler have come on to the field after starting as reserves in all three of their matches in 2016. The Rebels have only...

    Concussions and Protecting Our Players

Great article here with RUPA Pres Benn Robinson talking about concussion - great for the players to be led by a bloke who cares this much about wellbeing...

    The Wallabies Thread

I interpreted that as "has anybody used the first two rounds to convince you they should be in the team" as opposed to 'only players who have played in the first two rounds should be considered'. Based on the first two rounds, I have Lealiifano starting. Based on my own opinions of who are the...

    The Wallabies Thread

And then further to this, if I could make it a 30 man squad, I'd add: Ala'alatoa, Tatafu, Coleman, Gill, McCalman, Stirzaker, Shipperley

Sio, Moore, Smith, Simmons, Skelton, Fardy, Hooper, Pocock, Genia, Lealiifano, Tomane, To'omua, Kuridrani, Beale, Folau Hanson, Holmes, Slipper, Carter, McMahon, Phipps, Horne, Foley Only considered Genia of overseas players, and didn't pick any 7s players either. Assuming all currently...

    Reds 2016

Curious as to who Reds fans would want to take over for 2017 and beyond. Here's a list of condidates, I'm purely asking for your opinion - have none myself. Nick Stiles Michael O'Connor Brian Smith Ewen McKenzie Todd Louden Tony McGahan (contract status unknown) Zane Hilton Stuart Lancaster...

    HSBC 7's: ROUND 5 - LAS VEGAS

Add Tom Cusack and Nick Cummins to the list as well. Tom's broken his wrist but is expected to be ok for Rio. Sam Figg, John Porch, Stephan van der Walt and Simon Kennewell are also contracted, but probably a little unlikely - long term prospects.

    Rebels 2016

Fox hurt his knee pre-season, definitely injured/unavailable at present

    Bulls v Rebels Round 2 2016

I'd go unchanged from last week, with both Jeffries & Cummins on the bench. No need for Retallick IMO

    Rebels 2016

If you get 23 from Rd 1, add Debreczeni and then add Retallick, Asquith & Matsushima, you get 27 people. Remove Colby & Mike - 25. Add Jeffries & Tom Moloney (photographed in Perth on social media) and you return to 27. That's a full touring squad and the standard number. Basically means that...

Toby Smith played at THP at the RWC as well, so may well be Cheika's plan to have him as the long-term heir..

    The Wallabies Thread

Might surprise you to know that Laurie Weeks is still only 29, I'd love to see him back involved as a Wallabies THP reserve

Force vs Rebels Round 1, 2016

And would have Cummo on the pine ahead of Retallick
  20. RebelYell

Force vs Rebels Round 1, 2016

Similar here, but would swap Thomson & Colby, would start Engo ahead of Hodge, and then put him on the bench ahead of Crawf (who's not in full training yet, I believe). Can't wait to see BIP start - he gives up a little on defence but is a great passer of the ball
