When we lined up against Churchie that year, we always figured Pocock was moved there to cover Quades defensive frailties.

Ahhh I see, following the Pocock pathway!

I think that is an absolutely terrible idea. The guy was just speared into the ground and most normal people don't suddenly jump up as the first thing that goes through your mind is "fuck, can I move my toes". When a scrum collapses, we tell the kids not to move, so why the hell is Duane not...

Understood, but at the same time, LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) plays 6 for the Wallabies but I doubt he'll be playing with that number at the Reds. Additionally, the quality of the NRC is a step down from Super Rugby so its hard to say if the lower quality of shift in position is causing the uptick in performance. I...

Why would you not keep Stewart at 15 as that's where he played his best rugby this year. Gives him more time to be involved as much/as little as required in directing the game.

Georgina Robertson reported the other day: I don't think it was that big of a call having one of our most experienced props on the bench for a must win game either.

Ultimately, that's what the three person selection panel was instilled to stop from happening. But, how effective it is, we haven't really seen whether it is/isn't working.

Give me a coach that demonstrates a willingness to show some tactical nouse and they can pick whoever the want. Chieka's main undoing with the fans is that we have one way to play rugby, he doesn't try anything different to exploit the oppositions weaknesses and complains that it's someone...

    RWC Pool D - Wallabies vs Wales - Sunday 29 September 2019 @ 5.45pm

I’d say JOCs crabbing had more to do with those inside of him shoveling shit pill or not being able to pass properly let alone in front of the receiving player.

I unfortunately can't pause it any closer to when Will just moved the ball. But, most Ref's would say that the ball is only now just being capable of being shat on by a bird, so it's in play. Davis is a clear metre in front of everyone else, plus the last feet......

As harsh as the penalty on Samu was/is, it's silly to be leading with your forearm. He does it quite frequently, so I'm surprised it hasn't been an issue. If the first contact point was his hand, I'd say he should get off completely. I'm more concerned about the inaction of Josh Adams tackle...

Have to admit, over the last 3 - 4 Wallabies games, I don't think losing Samu is going to be the end of days that we've made it out to be. Sure he attracts two defenders, but between the lack of offloading and horrendous ball security, Samu has been completely nullified by smart opposition. If...

Is TK fit? Kerevi is costing us through poor ball security and decision making more than he’s creating.

What do you consider deliberate? Plenty of occasions used to occur where people would 'instantly react' causing coat hangers to occur. Was that deliberate or accidental? Was it deliberate or accidental that Hodge started his tackle from that high of a position rather than being lower where...

Has AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) worked on his kicking game whilst at the Tahs this year? Makes me extremely nervous that we've only got one designated kicker in the back three and realistically speaking 2.5 kickers in that entire backline (DHP, JOC (James O'Connor) and 0.5 in Foley).

Curious, in your time playing rugby, did you notice such a prevalence of high tackles occurring in the lower grades? In my experience (happy to be corrected by the numbers) both at School and Club, the high tackle rate was/is considerably lower than what's occurring at the highest level. Is it...

    RWC Pool D - Wallabies vs Wales - Sunday 29 September 2019 @ 5.45pm

My thoughts exactly. With Petatia being half cooked before the first kick, the second the Fijian match was over, we should have had Banks on the plane with Jordan going the other way. The 3 day no training timer would have meant Banks could have been training with the team when Hodges ban came out.

I don't have too much sympathy for Hodge. If you don't want to be suspended, don't give the Ref or Citing commission an opportunity to rest you. Sure this one was borderline, but that's the risk you take when you make borderline tackles. The was unnecessarily high and poor technique. Hodge had...

RWC Pool D: Wallabies v Fiji, Sat 21st September, 2.45pm AEST, Sapporo Dome

Thanks - I guess, it still begs the question why Chieka and co thought that Plan A was the most appropriate game plan with alllllllll the evidence suggesting it wasn't the best one.
