RWC Pool D: Wallabies v Fiji, Sat 21st September, 2.45pm AEST, Sapporo Dome

I agree with what your saying, however, why we even started the game with that 'style of play' is beyond me. It was clear as day that the Fijians struggled with set piece play and close quarters. We didn't even bother trying to play in their half via clearing kicks but kept running it. We tried...

If I was Hooper I’d just play 10 man rugby. These backs are useless.

Wellllllllll, Liam Fucking Gill and Sean McMahon would beg to differ. We have this giant gap between ranks because those two went overseas. Thankfully Hooper has been largely injury free, because with Pocock missing so much game time, there was a chance we could have been heading to a RWC with...

RWC Pool D: Wallabies v Fiji, Sat 21st September, 2.45pm AEST, Sapporo Dome

This is more to do with Cheika and Co's selection policy of constantly shoving the Pooper where it doesn't fit. If you throw Dempsey instead of LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto), and Isi goes down, you're down to 2.5 jumpers. But, if Isi goes down, replaced by LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto), you've still got 3 jumpers. Alternatively, if Pocock doesn't...

I personally thought Daugunu hits the line harder than CFS does. You also have Speight and Jordan who should be able to draw more than 1 defender in to create room outside of them.

It's a short walk from Adelaide Street where the parade is and the pubs are open from 9/10am. I think it'd be a cracking day for a lot of people. Get up early for the dawn service, have some breaky, be a part of the parade, head to Caxton Street for an early lunch, drink and off to the game...

2020 draw has been released. Is there any reason why super rugby is starting in January next year? I also don't know if it's a good thing, but the first three matches are all away matches for the reds. Meaning our first home game is a month into the season.

I'd imagine the contract saga was going on for months behind the scenes. Samu's agent would have said we can get way more elsewhere and told RA/QRU to pay more without naming a price. RA/QRU put a price to them, the agent received a higher offer from the Japanese and didn't put the offer back to...

It's hard to know exactly what went down, shame we're losing Samu, but if he wanted to stay in Queensland, there are opportunities. All I can say is, if I was Samu or his manager, I would find it extremely difficult to believe that either the QRU or RA were financially able to meet the ball...

I don't think Wilson will be starting a head of ASY (Angus Scott-Young) for the first few games. He's extremely young and I'd imagine they want to let him develop first. Are there any U23 tournaments next year that may require a number of our WTS or young guns to attend?

Wallabies v Samoa, Sat 7th September, 7.30pm, Bankwest (Parra) Stadium

Needs another season of S&C work which isn't unsurprising, he's still growing into his body and is lacking months of collision based work while coming back from injury.

CFS is only fit for half a season so you're going to need cover for when his hammy goes pop.

Man, after 5 years of Cheika's selections, these two are the final straw? Cheika has had more egregious selections in the past and this is where you fall on your sword? Jesus.

Bloody hell, calm down America. It was a solid tackle and was made because he lead with a shoulder, put his head to the side and wrapped with his arms. Standard tackle. They're just unaccustomed to non 140kg giants making the collisions whereas our Halfbacks are taught that legs are key.

Fair call on Smith, I guess I'm approaching Hoopert's development from a cautionary perspective as he's only 21 next month! I definitely think he's close to a starting spot, I'm just worried about his size. Did we cut Feo? I haven't heard anything about him since his thumb was broken. I...
