    Wallabies v Argentina @ CommBank Stadium 7.45pm Sat 15/07

There we go, something we can agree on.

@BH I'm surprised at your response. You don't see the necessity for a primary jumper in the back row? Even "Likely" that we are picking the same back row doesn't mean that we have the same flexibility. At any rate with Skelton starting, imo the back row requires a primary jumper however you wish...

It might be worth re-visiting your basic physics. Skelton isn't sitting on AAA. Edit: LeCheese beat me to it.

    Wallabies v Argentina @ CommBank Stadium 7.45pm Sat 15/07

We earlier had a claim that Skelton gave little in the scrum in this game. A claim to the contrary is just as unsubstantiated. FWIW and from recollection he had a reputation of being a pot plant in the scrum before he left Aus. Quite out of character with his size and muscle. It was also the...

You don't see too many 130kg marathon runners or cross country skiers. It's the same thing - high aerobic requirements favour smaller bodies. The lungs get larger but proportionally I think you'll find that aerobics are tougher on a larger body. You don't see elephants, rhino, buffalo etc at...

Not for mine. The Hooker has to do the day job which for me starts in the lineout. Porecki easily on that basis. Sure, the day job is also the scrum - I'm looking for Bell and Tupou to return before making that the reason to accept poor lineout results.

Springboks v Wallabies, Loftus Versfeld, Sun 9th Jul 1.05am AEST

Now the line outs (there were plenty): First Half <Porecki hooker; 5 man lineout unless stated otherwise> 0'35" Gold throw to IV (Frost), overthrow regained by Hodge - Win Gold 1'15" Gold throw to II (Tom), Win Gold 3'50" Gold throw to front (Slipper), Win Gold 4'20" Gold throw to III (Frost)...

Springboks v Wallabies, Loftus Versfeld, Sun 9th Jul 1.05am AEST

Quade hit big men front on because the pack wasn't there, stuck to it for the pack to join, then bounced off. I'd call it ballsy and job done.

it isn't BS east, might have different thoughts but that isn't unusual is it? I'm not going to justify EJ (Eddie Jones) selections at 22 and 23, but they couldn't happen without some cover on the field. Hodge would also have gotten the nod with his boot. Which didn't work for us at all. As it turns out, I...

I see some different thoughts on Tom to my positive vibes. While I was satisfied, focussed mostly on the Line out I guess, he did get 30 min. And that is definitely enough to have made a claim. Or not. EJ (Eddie Jones) has what he needs to make this call.

Springboks v Wallabies, Loftus Versfeld, Sun 9th Jul 1.05am AEST

Agree with this. In the scrum AAA wasn't simply losing out to "shenanigans", he occasionally simply just lost out to Kitshof. Once both bench front rows were on there was pretty clear dominance to the Boks. Got to feel for Nonngorr, but he needs to step up more to be at this level. Congrats to...

This genuinely seems like a decent process with a very good likelihood of a good result. The "most experienced HC" since Link is an interesting stat. I'd have been scathing with a poor effort, so the Reds machine deserves a firm tick from myself. Well done guys.

No-one taking you up on it? I'm hopeful, worried about a blow out in the last 20 at height but given I'm hopeful I'll call it for: W 18: Bok 12

DC, I'm not sure I fully buy this. If Hodge was at the back, sure, but at 12 does he have enough time to get the kick away? I think we'll see the kicking form White and Quade, less so from Hodge. Of course once the bench is used things change.

OK, we're saying that on this occasion the term "culture" meant discipline? Out of interest why the negativity on Kiss in that regard?

I thought the idea was that we had invested heavily in Thorn to resolve "culture". Are we saying that failed?
