    Playing 13 under Deans

Great point fp. In all of Bob Dwyer's posts, I reckon the thing he is most right about is that our backline doesn't ask questions of the defence. We tend to pass the pass all the way to the sideline without doing so. We need straight runners (and offloaders) and we are slowing moving in that...

    Mad Robbie

Vickerman is injuring Kiwis and staying fit. It's a dream come true. And he no longer spends half the game looking for his contact lenses. Could he be better than before?

Wallabies Backline for the world cup.

I figure this belongs here. Sports headline of the year. http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/sport/rugby-gold/rob-horne-taken-off-ice-for-a-crack-at-rugby-world-cup/story-fn8ti7yn-1226123544001

    Mad Robbie

I'm not changing my signature, just the meaning. I was right all along that we have the cattle to win, but we just needed to compete at the breakdown. The Wallabies are building ominously. Maybe Robbie is a misunderstood genious after all. But what does he say to them at half time? "Respect...

Drown out the haka: Bledisloe II | Tri Nations finale

Dan, the reason to be disappointed is that Aussie crowds regularly get "out-noised" by away team fans. We've got to keep working on it. I reckon Waltzing Matilda is the way to go.

    Ali Williams - haka

undercover, clearly none of us giove a fuck where the **** stands, it's just that our womyn's team got a fine from the iRB for crossing the line against the bloody haka, then so should Ali.

    Tri Nations Game 6 - Wallabies vs All Blacks - Saturday 27 August 2011 - 3N2011

Is rugby all about the breakdown? It would seem so, after tonight. Cheers Wayne Barnes for making it a fair fight. Watch out for Paddy, he won;t be happy.

    Tri Nations Game 6 - Wallabies vs All Blacks - Saturday 27 August 2011 - 3N2011

I seriously doubt that our scrum will dominate. At best, we'll go close to parity.

Drown out the haka: Bledisloe II | Tri Nations finale

Goodonya a, I'm not going to be there, but I'll do my best to support you from the pub. I reckon we might be onto something big here. A new tradition? Something to combat the slave song? I think so.

Drown out the haka: Bledisloe II | Tri Nations finale

But it means something to the Australian players and fans. For me, it's a question of sing WM during the haka, or have the last word and sing it after.

Tactics for the Trinations Final in Brisbane

Normally I would say - let JOC (James O'Connor) and KB (Kurtley Beale) score a couple of tries from individual brilliance. But we're down a man in that department. Stuffed if I know. Compete at the breakdown? It's just crazy enough to work!

    Rugby World Cup Predictor

I reckon ENG should make the final. They only really have to beat us - in the conditions you describe, we've got no chance. But ENG simply don't believe that they can beat NZL. The teams with the best chance of beating the Kiwis are AUS and FRA - teams who don't fear them, who know they can do...
