    Reds vs Cheetahs, Rnd 4.

Super Rugby coverage in Australia sucks! Click on "Rugby" on ABC Grandstand and you get NRL with the bloody Broncos. Fox sports only gives score updates, no live feed...welcome to 1964.....poor man's footy code!! Reds send regular emails which have no link to "match program", or "Captains...

    Hurricanes v. Brumbies R4 2014

Well done ponies! Miss Doug watched match live at home in Canada. Her parents had to listen to live-feed on ABC Radio Grandstand on the GC!

    Hurricanes v. Brumbies R4 2014

Was sad and surprised to read my G&GR email this morning which showed that the entire Reds squad (including the bench players) was now playing for the Hurricanes!! Phew, turned out it was just a 'typo'!

    Wales v Wallabies, Cardiff, Nov 30 2013

Braveheart81, I will explain, slowly for you. Frankly I'm happy with Benny being on the bench, however, many self-proclaimed experts on this forum are of an opposing view. My comment was not to suggest TPN played prop, just that by being on the bench as a 'reserve prop', could he fulfil the IRB...

    Wales v Wallabies, Cardiff, Nov 30 2013

I'm sure TPN has filled that position at some stage of his career. I've played prop in an 'emergency', and I was a second rower, but of course that wasn't against Wales!!

    Wales v Wallabies, Cardiff, Nov 30 2013

If Alexander is seen as being a liability, is it possible (under IRB rules) to have TPN on the bench as the "4th Prop", and S Finger as reserve hooker?

    Wales v Wallabies, Cardiff, Nov 30 2013

en_force_er, given my original comment and your reply re the choice of goal kicker, I'd be interested if we could get clarification as to who makes the decision during the match (not prior to the match). Is it the Captain or the Coach, or a "tactician" (to use a sailing term)?

    Wales v Wallabies, Cardiff, Nov 30 2013

If the team is picked on current form, Lilo will not be in the 15. Mowen's reluctance to give Cooper or Harris the kicking duties at Murrayfield almost cost us the match. He must not be so generous against Wales.

Yeh, great play from white, passing to Murray Field!

Get over your "White-love" you guys. Whilst Genia is on the field, he's our # 9. Can't remember a performance by White at test level that says he should be the starting scrum half.

IRB Referees Assn is on the ball, dressing the refs in blue and white!!

Commentators are like the pitch: very ordinary, after saying "sometimes a pass looks forward when it's not", after a blue pass went 1.5 metres forward!

    You were saying KOB1987?

    Scotland v Australia, Murrayfield, 5am 24 Nov 2013

It's a pity we didn't get to play this match before they scarified the ground prior to sowing a crop of thistles! Good to see Big Kev fired up.

Thanks for that weather update USARugger. A perfect night for rugby, with our boys not requiring the large fans or ice vests at oranges!!

Has anyone heard an update on pitch and weather conditions for this match?

    Scotland v Australia, Murrayfield, 5am 24 Nov 2013

I'm with you Quick Hands, given that at the start of this thread (or was it the Irish match thread), I asked if the rest of the EOYT could be deemed a "JOC (James O'Connor)-free zone", but was told that would not be possible, as some members just can't excise him from their thoughts! Sad isn't it?!

Highlander35, I like to think I have psychic powers, (because, in the past I've foreseen "events", including a fatal car accident), however, on this occasion, I can assure you it's pure, unbridled optimism! Having Scottish blood (from Castle Douglas, hence my given name), and Welsh blood in my...

    Scotland v Australia, Murrayfield, 5am 24 Nov 2013

Top of the morning to you Mr Jarse. As usual, (with regard to the RD, KB (Kurtley Beale), JOC (James O'Connor) rants), "seldom are you wrong, but you're right again"! I'm certainly looking forward to this match as much for the unpredictable, the unusual, and the unexpected, given the new combinations. Given my liking of...

    Scotland v Australia, Murrayfield, 5am 24 Nov 2013

Please explain: Why are some of you still talking about Deans, JOC (James O'Connor) and Beale? Move on you guys, as none of the aforementioned are involved in this match, either can it, or start a new thread titled "ancient history", or "my love for fallen stars"!
