While we’re on the topic, the Betoota rugby podcast Ruck Me Dead has warmed up and it actually good fun. Light on analysis but strong on humour - I’ve really enjoyed laughing along at the last few episodes. The one with Sean Maloney as a guest was particularly good.

Yeah I watched the Souths-UQ game. That injury looked bad, but also (as a South’s fan) it really sucked the fizz out of the South’s fight back. Had all the aggression and momentum (and the lead) until that point, but the long injury break allowed UQ to recoup and they never looked back.

It would be excellent having someone out there who can really dominate those collisions and bully people. So often it feels like we’re on the other end of that treatment. I think that’s why we were all so excited when Swinton ripped in in his solo test.

Watching live Valetini brought the level of physicality I wish Wilson was bringing. No idea what his work around the park was like but far out he seemed big and abrasive.
