    Cheetahs v Reds R14

Excited about this one now. Can the Reds become the first Australian team to win in Bloemfontein since 2010? Does anyone know if Labuschagne came through his fitness test?

    Lions Tests Second Ticket Offering

There are some Platinum and Gold tickets for the Brisbane Test currently showing up as available on the ticketek website. Good seats on the lower level too. Must be returned "allocations". Wouldn't imagine there's too many around though so get in quick if you haven't already.

    Rugby Jerseys and Merch Deals

Few peope having a sook aren't there. But would they really buy a hat for $5 and pay $10 postage if it was put online? Doubt it. I'll be up early and driving down the coast next Saturday.

    Rugby Jerseys and Merch Deals

Kooga have just announced their first ever warehouse sale on Facebook. You need to actually get to the warehouse next Saturday (25th) to be able to get anything though. Said to include Wallabies, Reds, Rebels, Fiji & Samoan gear. Probably some 2011 World Cup leftovers floating around too.

    Thoughts on Folau to rugby

Queensland knew he was going to AFL before the 2010 Origin series, and despite a largely NSW driven outcry (and an injury or 2) still picked Izzy. Won 3-0. http://m.brisbanetimes.com.au/rugby-league/state-of-origin/israels-return-to-the-promised-land-20100607-xqhx.html

    Reds 2014

Going off topic for a minute, but what did people think of this season's membership pack? And more specifically, the merchandise in it? For next season I'd rather just get a good quality cap, like the 2010 Kooga ones or Canterbury ones from 2006 than a big collection of lower quality gear.

    Country v B&I Lions

If Robbie's got any input into the side, I don't think you could rule out Richard Brown getting a crack.

    Cheetahs v Reds R14

Not sure if 3 out of 4 will be good enough. The NZ teams have plenty of bonus points. Would prefer we win them all.

    Cheetahs v Reds R14

Hopefully they keep their minds on the job over there. A couple of losses on tour would be a disaster. Will have more confidence if Horwill is back on deck this week.

The Force & Rebels - So close, yet so far?

Oh yeah, scratch that 2nd flogging - let's call it a draw. So it's 9 of 12 matches that the Force haven't won by less than a dozen points. If they'd won even 3 of those, they'd have mid-table respectability right now.

The Force & Rebels - So close, yet so far?

With the Force, they're 8 close losses from 12 matches played, 2 wins and 2 thumpings. Is their playing style a factor here? Waratahs managed to notch up 8 losses by less than a dozen points last season too.

    EOYT Debutants 2013

Do not kid yourself that we have the depth to even attempt such a move. Please refer to Munster in 2010, Samoa in 2011 and Scotland in 2012 for proof.

    Thoughts on Folau to rugby

ARU, HSBC, some rich bloke, whoever - get the cash on the table. Sign him up until after the next World Cup at least.

Waratahs v Stormers, rd 13 Super Rugby 2013

Israel Folau - makes the big plays - sign him up!

The Force & Rebels - So close, yet so far?

What is about the Force & Rebels that they repeatedly lose matches by small margins? If you'd spent the season betting on their opposition by 1-12, you'd be miles ahead by now. So what's behind all the close losses?

    Reds V Sharks - Round 13

Shorks will be happy to head home after the tour from hell. Season over for them! Reds probably on the same flight with a different attitude! Onwards to Victory! Go the Reds!

    Reds V Sharks - Round 13

Where are you Troy? Hardly a drop in the CBD all day. Big test for the Reds pack. Hope Quirk is fired up for a good game.

    Reds V Sharks - Round 13

Glen Jackson refereeing the Reds again tonight. Hope we're not talking about him tomorrow.
