    TRC2021 - Wallabies v Pumas @ Townsville 25/09

Maybe. But it is possible that Wilson is being bulked up. It would be a good thing.

It also looks like McMahon on the bench. I hope the idea is to give Hoops an early mark.

McMahon is built like a 7.

Would they be getting hyped if their surname was Blow, for example?

Gotta feel a bit for Fraser McReight. Why is he not in contention?

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Too much STAN rugby is never enough. But for us lazy b....s it would be nice if there was a thread telling us which games in the Premiership comp are worth watching every week?

I wish he doesn't look like Tiny Tim.

That is a really good exegesis, Reg, to coin a phrase. But I beg to differ. My memory of Latho is that he was a more damaging runner than Banks, and had a better boot. Banks looks a bit flakey too often for my support.

If you "know all that" there is not much point in talking about it. But one final point. Burke was a full back. Kellaway is not.

    Wallabies 2021

Burke was a 15, born and bred. He had all the skills, including kicking out of hand and for goal. Nobody was talking about making him into a 15, he was one. One of the very best. Would he have excelled in today's game? Given the obsession with the use of the high ball, maybe not.

Too close to his head. In other words, he is not tall enough for 15.

    TRC2021 - Wallabies v Boks @ Suncorp 18/09

Its okay when it works. Personally, I would much prefer the lower risk option.

Just to muddy (or enrich) the waters a bit, Daugunu can kick, he played soccer at a reasonable level in Fiji.

    TRC2021 - Wallabies v Boks @ Suncorp 18/09

He comes from a rugby background, seems to have all the skills. I bet he can kick better than Folau. Want to have a wager?

We will need to get our skates on to find a suitable 15. I have said it before, but my money is on Vunivalu. Long odds at the moment, but worth a flutter.

    Australian Rugby / RA

Whatever happens in the future depends on how the team are travelling. Not much point being too dogmatic, in my opinion. What I would like to see is a bit more top-down direction over selections, playing positions, and sabbaticals. Nothing wrong with a bit of horse trading.

What sort of audience would the game draw at 1 pm? Its just not rugby, old chap.

RC - Wallabies vs Springboks, Gold Coast Sunday 12 September 8:05 PM

If he was prepared to make a public apology and return the money he got for nothing from RA, okay, he can come back.
