While I don't completely agree with this, I can understand the rationale. I would make 1 alteration which would be that the red carded player cannot return after 20 mins - it would need to be a replacement to bring the numbers back to 15 on 15.

Super rugby contracts without ARU top ups are nowhere near 300-400K. I believe the maximum super contract is less than half of that.

Skelton was originally in the "Train On" squad in 2013 rather than the EPS. Although I think he may have got Sam Lane's EPS spot once he pulled out.

I would have thought that it is more likely that will not be with the Rebels in 2014.

I take your point however I still think most people would align the word bias with cheating.

Why are poor refereeing performances seen as biased ones? I didn't see this match and have no information on whether it was a good or bad performance but I struggle to understand how this referee who didn't grow up in Sydney and doesn't currently live in Sydney has any bias towards St Pats Old...
