As frustrating as tonight was, I still prefer watching the current Reds then the team before Thorn took over. I think his time as head coach is probably done though.

He’s in now. Thorn is head coach and needs to be front and centre of any criticism. But I’m not sure we should be absolving the other coaches of any responsibility. Defence coach Phil Blake in particular has a lot of questions to answer, IMO.

I don’t think the first week was necessarily a good reflection of either teams potential. Although if Reds can’t adjust their lineout and discipline they’ll struggle.

Yeah - I think our first 3 tries all had line ball passes in them. It wasn’t our finest game - that’s did sure. Plenty of times I’ve thought calls could’ve gone our way. Happy to take a bit of good fortune and run with it.

Biggest criticism is he played mostly wide, not tight.
