I'm pretty sure that in 2012, Christian was playing 10 with To'omua at 12. No idea why the Brumbies don't go back to this, especially with To'omua not even being considered for the Wallaby 10. It's not as if it's not a tried and tested combo....as mentioned, Lilo probably had his best Super Rugby form...

Didn't like Deans as assistant coach back in the Mitchell-era BUT I think he'd be a good ABs coach. What I don't know is if he'd maintain the culture that Henry, Hansen and Smith have created in the last 10yrs or so.

Nonu and Conrad Smith both have pretty attacking kicks. Ben Smith and Israel Dagg both have a pretty decent punt on them. I'd say that ABs have much better kickers in their backline than the Wallabies.

Have to agree with this. Genetics, advances in training techniques etc cannot substitute heart, hard work, desire and a burning competitive edge. So many of the greats from yester-year would still be great no matter what era they were in simply because they wanted it more than everyone els...
