Yes won the first 22-5 (I think) against a very large CCC team through tight structured forward play, enthusiasm at the breakdown and some expansive and slick backline movement. The whole team played well and I don't want to jinx anyone before the final tomorrow by nominating possible nsw...

I suspect the selectors may be interested to see how Frost performs at a higher level given his size - very few school boy locks in Aust would be taller and he gets around the park pretty well also.

Anyone prepared to predict CAS selections into NSW I and II squads? From what I saw on Tuesday Frost, Rasch, Margin, Basson, Armstrong, Mohi and Longville would be a chance. Didn't see today's match though.

Cant help but think the SJRU boys must be feeling a bit flat after this one sided contest. Presumably the result is much the same each year? Great for Blue to be able to showcase skills to selctors with a view to (some) being able to be selected 'up' next year. Not sure what's in it for the...

If so, I hope all is well on the family front as Matt is a talented player and tough competitor. His efforts with Parramatta at the SJC will at least ensure he gets to show selectors what he is capable of at Regional/ Sydney level.
