RWC 2015 Semi Final 2 - Australia v Argentina Twickenham, Monday 19 October, 2:45 AEDT

I was there too, and in my recollection it was Kiwis booing him, not New South Welshmen. It's a myth. I've never seen an Australian rugby crowd boo a Wallaby player in that way. And I say that as a Queenslander. But now we're getting back to the thousand-page Quade thread, so I'll stop.

Slim 293 is Greg Growden and I claim my inflatable Georgina Robinson doll. Actually, I claim the doll regardless.

A clever subterfuge, first used by Greg Growden in the great pie scandal of 2013.

That's okay Brumby Runner. I simply meant that often the correct role of a fly half is to give the ball to the man in space with a well timed pass in front. Observe the number of times In a game Dan Carter does only that. Foley did have a hand in both those tries. That doesn't mean he was...

RWC 2015 Semi Final 2 - Australia v Argentina Twickenham, Monday 19 October, 2:45 AEDT

I don't know a single Australian who got behind the Kiwi booing Quade campaign. There was universal condemnation of that on here and in the real Australia.

    Who to support now

Indeed. Arg are currently paying $3.40 on Bet365. That cannae be right. If I didn't have an aversion to betting against the Wallabies then I'd have some of that.

    Who to support now

I know it's a bit of a threadjack, but I don't think there's a 'good chance' the Wallabies will get knocked out next week, although of course there's a chance. We should be quite strong favourites. There's a bit of unnnecessary hand-wringing at the moment. But if we do lose, then I'll be...

Except it's not. The majority of posters on here like Foley and Cooper. They're just not as loud as the people who shreik "bias" while stroking their favourite Pokemon doll.

There are people criticising Foley, and people defending him. When Cooper makes mistakes, there are people criticising Cooper, and people defending him. The bile runs both ways. Your hyperbolic accusations of a complete one-way bias on this forum for Foley are off the mark.

RWC 2015 Semi Final 2 - Australia v Argentina Twickenham, Monday 19 October, 2:45 AEDT

I'm not saying he set up the tries, Brumby Runner. I'm saying he played his role correctly. Seb was saying he "barely touched the ball" in those tries. What should he have done differently? If he'd thrown a 20m cutout pass, then Kuridrani wouldn't have scored.

RWC 2015 Semi Final 2 - Australia v Argentina Twickenham, Monday 19 October, 2:45 AEDT

How can you say that with a straight keyboard, when approximately half the posts here are criticing Foley? Are you only reading the ones defending him? The same cardinality applies in reverse when Cooper makes mistakes.

RWC 2015 Semi Final 2 - Australia v Argentina Twickenham, Monday 19 October, 2:45 AEDT

I'm not sure what that means. In try 1 Foley passed to Kuridrani, who passed to Cooper, who scored. In try 2 Foley passed to Beale, who passed to Mitchell, who scored. Try 3 was a maul. Tries 3 and 4 were due to short passes down the blindside by Genia. That's a pretty decent involvement. A few...

Perhaps a bigger question is whether we can win without Pocock and Hooper in tandem. Pocock without Hooper was far less effective against Wales. Hooper without Pocock was far lesss effective against Scotland. Our best wins this year have had the Pooper together.

The crucial thing about Cooper is that he can come good, and has plenty of years to return to Australian rugby if he wants. I hope he bucks the trend and returns from France a better player than when he left.

He's a World Cup winning 10 if he repeats his form against England. There haven't been any other such performances by Australian tens this year.

Nah, they were deconstructing the Telegraph team. They removed Kepu, Douglas, Fardy and Pocock.

I'm normally a keen supporter of both Bok and Leek, but this time, go Wales! I like their attitude.
