2013 Super Rugby Final - CHIEFS v BRUMBIES

Getting killed. Mistakes creeping into every facet of the Brumbies game. Too much travel. Game over.

2013 Super Rugby Final - CHIEFS v BRUMBIES

Not at all. He gives away penalties, makes poor decisions at times and his passing can be errant. Granted the sample size I'm judging him from is quite small.

2013 Super Rugby Final - CHIEFS v BRUMBIES

Nic White makes too many mistakes for mine. He's got some ways to go before he deserves a crack in a Wallabies jersey.

    The End of Super Rugby

All this talk of expanding the franchised competition to Argentina, USA and Timbuktu is just pie in the sky stuff. The way forward is to continue to grow the game domestically. That means more Australian teams (in time), playing each other more regularly, and at times more suitable for...

    Relegation: Kings v Lions

Biggest crowd of the year? Perhaps promotion/relegation isn't such a bad thing. Especially if the loser has a place in Div 1 Curry Cup, which is no slouch.

2013 Super Rugby Semi Final - Bulls vs Brumbies

What an amazing performance. I used to hate it when South African teams played so direct. Now I see one of our own teams do it so well..I could get used to it.

    Brumbies vs Cheetahs Prelim 2

I know it's cold but really you would think they should have attracted more numbers to the ground given how long its been between drinks for the Brumbies in the finals. Nevertheless the atmosphere was good, and I can't get enough of that big band.

    Brumbies vs Cheetahs Prelim 2

I wish that kick went over. I don't know about the Brumbies. The Bulls in Pretoria are always a scary prospect, and to me they are just a better version of what the Brumbies do. I think it will end up like the Reds in Christchurch.

    Brumbies vs Cheetahs Prelim 2

Some bloke clearly audible with Lilo taking his fifth penalty shot: "SCORE SOME TRIES" "ENTERTAIN US" "THAT'S WHAT WE PAY FOR" Can't say I feel for him with his team on their way to winning their first finals game in a decade. Maybe he's a Canberra Raiders fan.

    Brumbies vs Cheetahs Prelim 2

That's the second try Mowen has butchered.

    Brumbies vs Cheetahs Prelim 2

They might scrape passed the Cheetahs today but the Brumbies don't look like a team that can win it all.

    Crusaders v Reds Prelim 1

I'm not super confident. If things start going wrong early I can see us getting blown out. I'm going with my head on this one, Crusaders by 14.

    Waratahs V Reds July 13 2013

Any reason why Harris isn't kicking?

    Waratahs V Reds July 13 2013

I'm not convinced Quade Cooper would have done any better than JOC (James O'Connor) for the Wallabies. He's being well outplayed by Foley tonight in my opinion. I hope Foley or To'omua get a go under Link.

    Waratahs V Reds July 13 2013

Are the absences of Ioane, Genia and Horwill fairly precautionary or are they in serious jeopardy of missing the first week of the finals? We can't really afford to lose all three.

    Cheerio Deans

If the ARU drop the ball on Link a second time I doubt he stays in Australian rugby. Unless he absolutely has to (family reasons). I'm sure there will be dozens of lucrative offers for him overseas.

Australia v British & Irish Lions, 3rd Test (Sydney)

I I was disappointed not to see Steve Walsh ref a game also.

Welcome to the northern hemisphere interpretation.

Australia v British & Irish Lions, 3rd Test (Sydney)

Joe Tomane was completely out of his depth defensively tonight.

Thank God the Robbie Deans era is finally over.
