It wasnt only that missed call that cost the kings - , could make a highlight reel of Peypers bad calls, he also denied a certain kings try with a bad call. The Lions did seem to try create more on attack, whereas the kings adopted a pseudo Bok bash it up and recycle template.

Lions were also lucky to get a intercept try, kings would have been on attack with a 3 on 1 overlap if that pass went to hand. Janties had his kicking boots on, big game by him. Not sure where it was all season for the Stormers. Lions should be in next year from what I saw. Kings just cannot create anything on attack. Will be interesting to see what kind of support the Lions garner next year.

absolutely gobsmacked. peyper without a doubt in the lions pocket. awarding forward pass tries , pinging kings for doing exactly what the lions are doing. pissed off. now trying to feign impartiality by showing the lions a yellow.

It's a lot like bent science, in fact, in that you start out with the finding already "known" (in a fan's mind, there is only one team that can win - they "know" the result before the match). The entire match is an observed experiment, and unwittingly, people mix emotion with interpretation and they will come up with accusations of bias because their observation will always fit their model. This is the danger of looking for proof of what you already believe, because you will always succeed at finding it

People must consider after the Super 6 came to a end there was no competition. Who was the team and blokes who put forward most of the money for the Super 10 to get started? Without it there would have not been a Super 12 14 or Super Rugby.

Yes it was the Lions who bankrolled most of the teams bills. Louis Luyt no matter what stupid things he could say at times he always wanted to best competition for the sides to compete in and for SA to compete against. The Lions legacy died with him
