Australia vs British and Irish Lions - 1st Test (Brisbane)

I've never heard of a 'fine' miss. We had two chances to win the game and the goal kicker didn't take them. That's unacceptable at this level.

Australia vs British and Irish Lions - 1st Test (Brisbane)

What is this obsession with JOC (James O'Connor) on the wing? There are many better wingers in Australian rugby than him. Just because he is not good enough to be the the Wallabies 10 doesn't mean he should automatically be given a spot elsewhere in the backline. For mine he is a capable utility player on the...

Australia vs British and Irish Lions - 1st Test (Brisbane)

I don't know how many more hits to the noggin Barnes can take. Very similar situation to Elton Flatley.

Australia vs British and Irish Lions - 1st Test (Brisbane)

I agree. I always thought if we were going to lose this game it would be because of our goal kicking. And that turned out to be the case. It was below par. I've never rated JOC (James O'Connor) in this department due to his inconsistency. And Kurtley, well he simply caved under pressure.

Australia vs British and Irish Lions - 1st Test (Brisbane)

I would have thought Barnes' goal kicking was a major factor in his selection. He's more consistent then JOC (James O'Connor).

Australia vs British and Irish Lions - 1st Test (Brisbane)

We need Barnes to come through with the goal kicking. Because that is most likely what will separate the two teams in the first test. We'll most likely need his territorial kicking from the back as well. Impressed with the selection of Lelo at 12. Let's hope it pays off.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Six team conferences are a must if the domestic product is going to attract significantly more money in the future.

The Awful Truth About The ARU's Financial Position

You're right NZ make some cracking brews. Epic and Yeastie Boys are responsible for some of the best I've ever had.

    Country v B&I Lions

How great was that jersey. Just unfortunate it will most likely never see the light of day again. Such a shame the Rebels couldn't come up with something as striking when they entered the competition, instead the competition got yet another mostly-blue generic kit.

    Country v B&I Lions

An Indigenous team would have been pretty great as well. That is if we could find the players. Surely if we included premier grade there would be enough.

    Reds vs Stormers, Newlands 2013

Keep this rubbish up in the second half and the Reds can kiss goodbye any chance of a home final. I won't be sticking around for it though, sleep is a much better option right now.

    Reds vs Stormers, Newlands 2013

If this is how Quade responds to being left out of the Wallabies squad, I'm not even mad.

    Kurtley in Trouble Again

    This guy is a problem.

    Reds v Brumbies - RD10 2013

Done correctly, which is difficult, the rolling maul is a great part of the game. I'm not sure why you see it as negative.

    Sharks v Rebels RD 6 2013

I'm pretty sure JOC (James O'Connor) went to Bali. Yet again Australian rugby gets embarrassed in South Africa. It's happened to the Reds twice in the not so distant past so I'm not going to be too critical. But this kind of thing just has to stop. We have 5 professional rugby union teams that need to be more...

    Reds 2013

There will be a lot of pressure on Graham next year. If he can't take this young champion team to the finals then consider him gone by the following season.

Reds v Force, Super Rugby Round 5, 2013

He was better but not good. Failed to involve those outside him. Genia's replacement isn't up to standard so it didn't help things in the second.

Reds v Force, Super Rugby Round 5, 2013

As Will Genia said the Reds didn't deserve it. They have had a result like that coming all season to be honest and have been made to look okay against mediocre opposition. The loss of Fainga'a and a couple of outside backs is not an excuse, we have more than enough pieces to win against one of...
