Wright is the more finished player at the moment by some way IMHO

    Wallabies 2021

Yep, great pace, good kick, playing well - he is the best we have His likely selection makes the back 3 selection interesting, with Izzy we needed that good kicker to add balance, with Banks that is less important and line break ability may be more useful

    Wallabies 2021

It would be nice to find, one of his key strengths for the team was consistently getting through that first tackle on providing forward momentum on kick return I don't think he can do that as he isn't great in contact - at the moment Banks is the best we have, our most complete and...

Hodge delivers to a consistent quality test standard across a number of positions, he is the ideal bench option

    Waratahs 2022

I am more concerned with his conservative approach as head coach, for a guy who played glorious attacking rugby with lots of players in motion and attacking threat, his coaching is/was kick and maul

Have you seen how the French are playing? Unless Derpus is correct and they leave their top side at home and the rest focus on a beach, girls and beer tour with random rugby games - we are in for a really harsh reminder of our current place in the rugby hierarchy

Being left out of the French tests will only improve their status, the Wobs could lose every home test this season

    Waratahs 2022

I think he will be putting shifts in at both lock and backrow, he will be the best lineout unit in the club by miles

It doesn't really bother me to see privates schools poach players, provide them a good education and a quite reasonable rugby education without the NSWRU spending a great deal My concern is more with NRL clubs filling those same silos with kids not in a rugby pathway

I still remember Wayne Bennett moving on Wally Lewis as an organisation making those hard decisions

    Waratahs 2021

The challenge with that squad was that it was so top heavy, that meant recruitment was mediocre for the replacements with the cash going to the "1sts" and squaddies just not getting game time cheika is the king of the short term

    Interesting 10 analysis

You, don't automatically get the consistent bit in test rugby without enough form to justify it, he got a good run last season
