    Western Force 2021

There’s a concerning trend on this Western Force thread which warrants comment. It seems that RugbyReg (RR) is becoming to Green & Gold Rugby, what Train Without a Station (TWAS) has become to The Roar. Both are Queenslanders who seem to carry a grudge for the Western Force “stealing” players...

Average age evidently doesn't mean much: Average age Wales: 30 (6 Nations Champs 2020) Average age Western Force: 28 Average age France: 27

There's a lot to be said for this. Get's the Wallabies away from the NSW cabal in Sydney. Has to be a cheaper option.

The International players are here for the SRAu and TT comp only. Talking to the players the WF is not offering or paying top $. Players are happy to come to WA for the quality of the program, the no DH policy, the total team culture and the lifestyle. The WF have a Force Family culture that not...

I assume all that means that you actually know the full details of the salries at the WF. All I know is what I was told by the CEO and the Director Rugby at the fan day.

From comments made at the recent recent WF Fan day the wages bill at the WF is the least of all 5 franchises. Seems that it must be about management and building a culture - which hopefully becomes a winning one.

Fantastic to see another Wallaby Lock coming back home. Should pair well with Sita next season. Like the idea of Thrush coming off the bench for 20 minutes to create havoc. Western Force secures Wallabies lock March 16, 2021 The Western Force has signed Wallabies lock Izack Rodda, who joins...

I reckon that there's usually two sides to every discussion - especially so when we're prepared to listen. All we've really heard has been speculation. However, it's obvious that Rodda and Thorn didn't get on well - from what Thorn's had to share recently. Hodgo knows Rodda very well.

Good to see the Western Force recruiting against the tide of the Aussie exodus: Jono Lance Greg Holmes Sitaleki Timani Jake McIntyre Kyle Godwin Izack Rodda (2022) Was also good to see the WF building depth form OS rather than plundering other Aussie Super Rugby franchises: Santiago Medrano Tomas...

Top game. Great comeback from the Reds after being doen 17:0. Both teams setting the standard in SRau. Hoping that the WF players can find their mojo before next week against the Reds.

    Super Rugby AU 2021 -Rd 4 - Force v Rebels - Fri 12/3

I reckon there was a lot to like about the defensive effort last night. (Well done Def Coach - Nick Hensley) That included reasonably good discipline inside the Rebs' half. I struggled to identify or understand the game plan that was in place. Obviously, not taking penalty points was one of...

We must have grown up in a different part of town. Growing up in Melbourne in the 50s I was surrounded by Italians, Greeks, Yugoslavians, Turks and Egyptians and had team mates in football and cricket teams. Post-war Australia was very different to pre-War Australia - especially in working class...
