Round Six: Waratahs v Rebels Friday March 29, 7:35 pm SFS

Should be a penalty at least there, plenty of justification for yellow though

Round Six: Waratahs v Rebels Friday March 29, 7:35 pm SFS

I imagine it's a result of a particularly draining game in Fiji and a short turn around, particularly something like Bell's back. I imagine he and Gamble might have always been in doubt but given the replacements aren't great options they gave them as long as possible to be fit. Hanigan seems...

Carnage before the game has even started: That's Bell, Gamble and now Hanigan all confirmed out for the tahs, Kemeny out for the Rebels.

    Melbourne Rebels 2024

It really is - there are currently 10 players in the reds squad with 50 reds caps (Fa'agase, Blyth, Smith, McReight, Wilson, Wright, McDermott, O'Connor, Petaia and Campbell) with a bunch more in the 40s who will likely hit 50 this season. O'Connor is the only one of hose guys that started his...

    Super Rugby General Chat

I think that "tonight" was a Perth Thursday and he was after a Thursday night game. Usually I'm not for artificially spreading out the games too much because it can complicate the draw with turn around times, but with the byes starting next weekend this was probably the perfect opportunity for it.

    Wallabies 2024

Hodgman's last match for the All Blacks was on 14/11/2020, he has served his 3 year stand down and been eligible since 14/11/2023.

    Queensland Reds 2024

Yeah, I would've thought there was a pretty good case for shifting those guys around a bit. Also wouldn't mind seeing Brial get a run off the bench. Nothing against Bryant but I really liked his trial form and think he could really make an impact across the last 20. Possibly could've gone 6/2 on...

    Under-20 Competitions including Oceania & World U20s

Bit surprised to see it pushed back to May but it's probably good to have it closer to the World cup. Also looks like it has been relocated to the Sunshine Coast from the Gold Coast, might be the reason for the delay or just a reality of it.

    Round 6: Reds v Brumbies

It all goes to the previously powerful hoteliers lobby in QLD who completely screwed liquor licensing back in the day. Same reason we don't have supermarkets selling booze and the the landscape is dominated by mega-pubs with the traditional corner sort few and far between.
