    Where to for Super Rugby?

I'd take either one of those structures. Though the first one would be the likely better option if they ever wanted to expand participation.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Yep. I know more than a few Soccer fans who actively turn their nose up and the A-League. Their rationale is why bother with a sub par offering when you can watch the EPL, La Liga or the Bundesliga.

Australian Bid for 2027 World Cup

The US isn't in the running for 2027. USA Rugby isn't in the position to bid. And the only group that could and is interested (MLR) has stated they are targeting a 2031 bid.

The current issue with Stan's coverage in bars/pubs....

So neither you or your mates could figure out how to work the remote and watch the Saturday FTA game on Gem?

    Rugby 7s general chat

Last I read WR (World Rugby) do plan to relaunch it.

    Waratahs 2021

Lol. You're right. That is worse.

    Kiama, Gerringong, Berry?

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Not an NRC like competition. As the NRC was never intended to be a professional competition nor was it ever marketed as such. Nor do I think we need 10 teams. At least not immediately. I'd settle for 8.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

I'm on the side of having both but run separately. Super Rugby Au with the Drua and then a TT/AP competition after in the form of a Champions League set up. Could even look to do something with Japan. May be MLR and SLAR in the future. As for the weekend. I take encouragement from the results. That being...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

It can still be run by an independent board in the current format. Together while separate. Work to achieve common goals and synergies between the two domestic competitions allowing for more seamless transition to the TT components.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Yep. We should be looking to essentially market it as the BBL for Rugby. Relatively short but action packed. Then use the TT as a champions league set up.

    Waratahs 2022

There's little in terms of separation between the two to be honest. Both have failed to properly engage the region. And yeah. They could have licenced two teams. In fact, honestly I think they should. I'd even be fine with it being based in the north of the city playing out of Brookvale. Neither...

    Waratahs 2022

The organisation has shown little to no interest in the Rugby base out this way. Do you really think they care? Their objection wasn't about the prospect of losing fans in the west. It's about protectionism. Protecting their little patch as the only Rugby based option for talent in the city...

    Waratahs 2022

Rivals share stadiums in other codes. Why is it that in Rugby it has to be one team to a stadium? And while BankWest is the newest and best stadium in the area. It's not the only stadium. The scheduling conflict argument is a bit of a hollow one to be honest.

    Waratahs 2022

I'd never say never but it would take a huge investment of both time and resources to change things out this way. I've outlined in the past what I think is needed. The issue is, I've never seen anything to suggest the organisation has or ever really will be interested in doing anything about it...

    Waratahs 2022

What supporters? Seriously. Waratahs supporters in Western Sydney are few and far between. Even among those that actively support/play the game in the region. The Waratahs base in terms of fans are overwhelming based in the eastern half of the city. A Western Sydney team was never a threat to...

Where To For Club Rugby? The Real Third Tier.

Yeah. You will have Super clubs that talent will gravitate toward. And that's kind of the point. If a national club comp were established there are going to be winners and losers. It would sit above the current competitions and talent should move toward them. That's why I've suggested RA...

Where To For Club Rugby? The Real Third Tier.

Yeah, that's kind of my point. It's a niche sport that makes it work. We're a much bigger sport with a much bigger profile. There's no reason why we couldn't do something like what Adam84 has proposed and without the need to have players contribute.

Where To For Club Rugby? The Real Third Tier.

Ice Hockey seem to manage it. Surely we could.
