Sir Clive's Views on Wallaby Kicking

Beale and JOC (James O'Connor) are just such outrageously talented blokes, that everything seems to happen easily on the pitch for them. They may just take a similar approach to their goal kicking, just for the record I don't know if they do, but they need to realize just because they are outstanding footballers...

Australia vs British and Irish Lions - 1st Test (Brisbane)

Phillips and Warburtons rating are the worst, everyone in the Lions team should probably come down a point or two bar Heaslip he should probably get an 7.5. Although you shouldn't be paying too much attention to anything the Daily Heil writes

    Lions Tour - Positivity Thread!

I've been to pretty much every major rugby stadium in Europe for big internationals and Heineken Cup games, and nothing came close to Suncorp on Saturday night. Its is without doubt the best rugby stadium I've been to can't think of a bad word to say about the place! Already planning a trip to...

Rebels v Lions - Tuesday 25 June, AAMI Park

Funny how they didn't have the same reaction to the Shane Williams call up when it was an utter farce, we were told how great it was that a "genius" was able to go into the Lions camp for a few days. Court was one of the best loose heads in the Heineken Cup this season and given that the Lions...

Australia vs British and Irish Lions 2nd Test (Melbourne)

Huge loss, gutted for Paulie he was just in such good form! Hopefully he can rest up and get back on the paddock early next season. The Lions are going to miss his leadership in the pack most off all, there is going to be a huge void there now. Australia have their leader for this test, the...

    James Horwill cited for stamping

The incidents in 97 (Doddie Weir), 01 (ROG), 05 (BOD) and 09 (Fitzgerald) were all legitimate cases the Lions had, this one seems to be certain Lions fans/press corps peddling the biased SH judiciary as a fall back in case Australia win in Melbourne. Make no mistake about it if its 1-1 next...

Australia vs British and Irish Lions 2nd Test (Melbourne)

One more thing that the Lions need to do, and it seems to be a NH problem in general, is adapt to Jouberts interpretations quickly. It was clear on Saturday that Pollock was going to be very strict on jackling, the Lions, especially BOD, kept trying to pilfer ball and got pinged two or three...

    James Horwill cited for stamping

Glad that Horwill has got off, it was accidental and if the Lions win I'd prefer to have beaten a full choice Wobs team. Some of the reaction by the Lions fans have been embarrassing, I don't want to go into other incidents but many Lions fans complaining are guilty of serious double standards...

    Lions Tour 2013

Probably the only sensible thing Gatland said after the game was that after all 3 hookers problems they played it safe with their strategy to ensure they kept the ball. Its all well and good taking that approach when you have dominance at the maul and big ball carriers in midfield, but given the...

Australia vs British and Irish Lions 2nd Test (Melbourne)

Massive loss he was the pack leader for the Lions and was in inspirational form. Parling can run the line out but POCs breakdown work and his ability to inspire those around him will be hugely missed, Cheif Ruck Inspector Warburton will need to be the focal point for the pack and this scares me...

    Lions Tour 2013

Jayus that is a strange one, although the fact that he is in Brisbane helps. Just confirmed on ESPN http://www.espnscrum.com/lions-tour-2013/rugby/story/187289.html If Vunipola starts the test on Saturday thats a massive advantage to the Aussies. Also we are f***** if POC is out of the tour...

Australia vs British and Irish Lions 2nd Test (Melbourne)

I'm interested to see what the Lions do defensively against Folau in the next test, even though he barely touched the ball in the second half he always seemed to have space in front of him the Wallabies just couldn't get the ball to him. I think in Gatlands head it will push him towards...

Australia vs British and Irish Lions 2nd Test (Melbourne)

Where does Smith fit in? Impact sub or should the Wallabies go for broke and play him and Hooper together. The Wallabies dominated the breakdown yesterday and introducing another specialist there could tip the scales so far in their favour goal kicking mightn't even come into it!

    Thoughts on Folau to rugby

The ARU has to pull out all the stops to get him to re sign. This guy is going to rugbys next superstar, his speed of development is unbelievable!

Australia vs British and Irish Lions 2nd Test (Melbourne)

Lions need more big ball carriers, that said I wouldn't be unhappy if he played next week

Australia vs British and Irish Lions - 1st Test (Brisbane)

First experience of Suncorp and it was awesome, still not sure how the Lions won that game if Lilo didn't get injured think it would have been a different story. Hooper was my MOTM, but delighted to see Izzy have a good run. Lots of changes needed for the Lions for the second test, outclassed...

Australia vs British and Irish Lions 2nd Test (Melbourne)

Changes I'd make for the 2nd test: Youngs, Croft, St Sam, Heaslip, Phillips, Davies, Cuthbert out Hibbard SOB Tipuric Faletau Youngs Roberts Bowe in Changes Gatland will make Lydiate in Croft out

Australia vs British and Irish Lions - 1st Test (Brisbane)

Same section as myself, if your sitting near an Irish bloke who is lamenting everything Tom Croft does say hello! Jeez this afternoon is going slowly in work, if I'm this pumped more than 24 hours before the game what is it going to be like tomorrow evening!

    Waratahs 2014

As much as he would be a waste of money it could be worth it just to see the whinging in the league press

Australia vs British and Irish Lions - 1st Test (Brisbane)

Gave a spare ticket to a bloke from work, as payment he was the "beer bitch" for me and the missus. Didn't miss a second of rugby but had a good supply of drinks the whole game. His fate was sealed when he asked me in the pub pre game who the Lions captain was, and why was Wilko wasn't in the team.
