Shout out to Home Unions / Northern Hemisphere

Ok I'll bite The ELV's were trying to turn rugby into league, they were terrible laws! I think you'll find that you'll need to direct your scrummaging grip to the IRB. Last time I checked there were various Super 15 matches blighted by re set scrums. This is a global problem and the NH have...

Australia vs British and Irish Lions 2nd Test (Melbourne)

Right, lets get this thread back on track. Heres a few area where I think the Lions can attack the Wallabies: - Lineout, Stephen Moores throwing and Ben Mowans calling were both flawless last week, and the Lions have lose their line out specialist and 3rd centre Tom Croft. However i think...

    Lions Tour 2013

Jayus Cardiff Blue where are you getting all these photos? Whats your official role in the tour?

    Lions Tour 2013

Not too sure about this, the IRB are appealing their own decision. The moaning of the press and Lions management has got to the IRB. There are a lot more incidents that they should be reviewing before this one, one including our fearless leader who could have killed Vincent Clerc by dumping him...

Australia vs British and Irish Lions 2nd Test (Melbourne)

Ridiculous decision regarding Horwill, how can the IRB appeal their own decision? Its a true banana republic decision

    Heineken Cup 2013/14

I agree its a massive IF, it would be a shame if we have seen that last of Ferris. He would be one of the all time greats if he wasn't so injury prone!

    Lions Tour 2013

Not sure Lydiate was the best option, he has failed to stifle Genia on numerous occasions and I'm sure why it will be a success now. The Lions are crying out for ball carriers and I think SOB should have been picked. That said both men will do a better job than Croft. I'd agree with everything...

Confirmed yesterday that it will be closed

    Heineken Cup 2013/14

Stephen Ferris has signed a 6 month contract with Ulster, it was thought he was going to Japan but he is staying with Ulster to rehabilitate his latest injury. One would assume if he gets fit he'll sign a longer deal with Ulster

Australia vs British and Irish Lions 2nd Test (Melbourne)

Forwards win matches, Wallabies pack looks stronger particularly in the back row and they should have an advantage in the set piece. Gill coming off the bench could play a key role in the last 20 minutes. Australia to win by 8, Lions to finally pick their strongest side in the last game and take...

Australia vs British and Irish Lions 2nd Test (Melbourne)

He has a knee injury which he played through in the first test. I assume its just gotten worse since then

Australia vs British and Irish Lions 2nd Test (Melbourne)

I'm quite happy for Deans to be in situ at the moment because he is helping the Lions get a series win. That said come Rugby Championship time I may be on your bandwagon if he is still around. I'm not happy with the Lions management approach who seem to have buried their heads in the sand...

Australia vs British and Irish Lions 2nd Test (Melbourne)

It just seems to me that Gatland hasn't learnt anything from last week, in fact he has picked an even weaker side! Lets not forget if the Australians had a goal kicker we would have probably lost by about 10 points in a game where we dominated territory and possession for the majority and the...

Australia vs British and Irish Lions 2nd Test (Melbourne)

Weak looking pack for the Lions, the scrum is vulnerable, Vunipola has shown many many times this season he isn't ready for this level. Holding your own against the Force and Tahs 2nds isn't enough. Quite simply the Lions are f***** if they lose a lock, a weak scrummaging loose head and Croft...

Australia vs British and Irish Lions 2nd Test (Melbourne)

Lions team: Leigh Halfpenny, Tommy Bowe, Brian O'Driscoll, Jonathan Davies, George North, Jonathan Sexton, Ben Youngs; Mako Vunipola, Tom Youngs, Adam Jones, Alun-Wyn Jones, Geoff Parling, Dan Lydiate, Sam Warburton (captain), Jamie Heaslip Replacements: Richard Hibbard, Ryan Grant, Dan Cole...

Australia vs British and Irish Lions 2nd Test (Melbourne)

Thought the HB and Smith would have made the 23, but I guess that Smith mustn't be match fit. Decent 23, the pack I think will have the upper hand with POC and Corbiserio injured

Australia vs British and Irish Lions 2nd Test (Melbourne)

Rumours in the Irish & UK press that Lydiate and SOB will be on the bench with Chief Ruck Inspector and 13.5 Tom Croft covering the locks from 6

    Waratahs 2013

My mistake was from the ARU, didn't even look at who it was from just assumed it was the Tahs weekly email!

    Lions Tour 2013

Do you have the stats for turnovers won and penalties against? I'd say Jamie Heaslip is close to the top of turnovers won (POC is probably top of this) and he has given few penalties away.

    Lions Tour 2013

I'd be surprised if there were any unforced changes, one of Manu or Bowe will come onto the bench as will SOB I reckon
