The aim is to have a different name for each game, reflecting news or events of the time, but collected under a single title, if that makes sense. So, the KBMT would be Bankers Shield I. In 2012, Bankers Shield II would have a different name, like 'Rebels on top? You've got to be JOCing', so on...

Also, had an idea for the perpetual trophy name. Something like the Bankers' Shield has a fair few applications. Obscure Bankers' Shield (sponsors) Talentless Bankers' Shield What a bunch of Bankers' Shield etc. Thoughts?

I think we're having a closed training session whilst watching the Rebs-Blues match, at the pub, consisting solely of nailing our post-try celebrations.

Alright, just getting the convo started. Are there conversions in proper touch? People have different scoring systems, and I've never bothered to check.

Alright guys, I'm going to put my line in the sand re rules: Touch Sevens. - No tackling - 7 players a side, unlimited but equal bench (ie. Rebel Army turn up with 15, GAGRatahs play 15). - Unlimited subs - Not fussed about halves times, 15 mins per? - Conversions can be taken any which way...

We'll need to find some sort of perpetual trophy and name (working title of Keyboard Warrior Cup but very open to change) but I agree, each year should have its own feel to it, hence the KBMT for 2011.

Disappointed Adelaide lost it, went there this year and loved it. Sure GC will do a ripper of a job and will definitely consider going up for it. Agree with en_force_er that this is a great opportunity for either the Rebels or the Force to move into SA.

Eww. But it won't be too early, the Army guys and girls will be flying in at different times throughout the day, so should be late arvo.

That's what we're hoping for too: The Keyboard Warrior Cup or some such. I've ordered a trophy on behalf of the Army. This year the match will be known as the KURTLEY BEALE MEMORIAL TROPHY.
