    Week 7: Blues @ Rebels

Dan, try referring to Barrett as BfB. I'm sure we'll all understand who you mean.

    Week 7: Blues @ Rebels

A clear step up from Mafi who was shrugged off in tackles a couple or more times in his short stay. Have seen that occur in earlier games too. EDIT : should have been in reply to a post by Griffins. Sorry TRB.

Australian Super Rugby Team of the Week 2023

Nothing serious, just a touch of dementia getting in the way of a worthy discussion.

Australian Super Rugby Team of the Week 2023

I would have tried to keep that result hidden too Reg. In a week where one of the best Aussie derby Super Rugby games in years was played out, only a combined 4 players from both teams made the TOTW. Many fans on this site unfortunately are a joke.

    Round 7: Reds v Brumbies - Friday April 7 @ Suncorp 7:35pm

Derpus you might say they play for 80 minutes? But I reckon they actually do lift the tempo in the second half when they bring on their bench. At the 50 minute mark last night they replaced their two Wallaby props and not long after their No 9 a lock and a backrower. From that time on they...

    Round 7: Reds v Brumbies - Friday April 7 @ Suncorp 7:35pm

Any concessions that the Brumbies are playing class rugby? Or is it really just the errors and poor coaching/conditioning of the opposition that is gifting them the wins?

    Reds v Crusaders - Round 6

One SV is enough surely. Don't need two or more of him. Just a phenomenon would suffice

    Wallabies 2023

Really like to see that front row all together. FF (Folau Fainga'a) isn't in the squad though.

    Round 7: Reds v Brumbies - Friday April 7 @ Suncorp 7:35pm

Suncorp worth 31 points to the Reds. Should be a close game.

    Wallabies 2023

Dct if a Wallaby pack was picked today it would contain 5 - 7 Brumbies. You must think there will be a huge changing of the guard come RWC time if your preferred pack only has two.

I don't think he'd lose you one either if the team had others who can win it. Excellent solid Super player and improving with every opportunity at Wallaby level imo.

    Queensland Reds 2024

Van Nek's future probably hinges on what Sefo Kautai does. With Allan Ala'alatoa signed to 2027 or thereabouts, there is a bit of a logjam after him at THP with Rhys, Sefo and Tom Ross. Rhys would be a good get if he is available, but he might also want to stay where he is and where his talent...

Holloway? Born for the physical side of the game.

    Wallabies 2023

Hmmm. Didn't he start at 10 in the first two games of the year where he steered the Brumbies to wins over the Tahs and the Blues?

One thing Jack can do is tackle the biggest of the runners coming at him. Probably rate him the top tackling No 10 in the country.

    Wallabies 2023

Hasn't yet played much at Super Rugby level but admittedly he did look good and composed early on. But I wouldn't say he is a more natural playmaker than Carter Gordon at this stage of their developments. Wouldn't surprise me if Carter is No 1 in years to come with Lynagh in his shadow a bit.

Ahhh Dismal, nobody these days has any patience.

Brumbies v Waratahs, Sat 1st April, GIO

Dct excuse my ignorance of the modern vernacular, but is that good or bad?

Australian Super Rugby Team of the Week 2023

After the exhillarating game on Saturday night, the TOTW could easily and justifiably be either of the Tahs or the Brumbies teams. Consequently, I am picking my TOTW entirely from that game. I will go with the Brumbies front row as overall they outpointed the Tahs in both open play and at set...
