well if he was on the table the surgeon probably had his fees secured anyway. If so, he actually got paid to do nothing, which is entirely believable

    Michael Cheika

and to prove my admiration in his style, here is his letter to members in full: Against the Rebels, we didn’t have the same edge that we’ve had in previous weeks. I think we’ve played five high intensity games since the break and we’re not a side that’s been used to doing that consistently...

It was also interesting to hear him say he warned the team that there would be a sharp end to their success with a loss, as that will always happen to an improving team. The true measure of this tram will be the mental fortitude they show next outing (even if the result is a loss)

I was hoping for that last week.

Waratahs Crusaders Friday 31st May 5:40pm AEST

Skelton has a big frame (frankly, a huge frame) and I wonder if he can get it around the park for 60 minutes at Super Rugby speed. Maybe we play he and Timani a half each?

Reds v Rebels, Super Rugby Round 16, 1 June 2013

dont take this the wrong way rebels fans, as I mean it as a complement. The Rebels have a great skill in bringing teams down to their level. I'm not sure how it is, but the crusaders, stormers and tahs all lost their structure and handling against the rebels. My guess is that this is harder to...

Thoughts on a Possible Law Change

In the end my view is that no matter how you change the laws, you will still get teams pushing the boundary to gain an advantage. I think at this stage of the game the only thing that needs to be sorted out is the scrum, and this looks to be going the right way with the proposed changes...

Thoughts on a Possible Law Change

Scoey, I think if your mate was a GAGR forum reader he would have different view of the Reds Brumbies game, and the punters' view of it. IIRC, the reds were accused of being to pig headed in their search for a knock out, and the brumbies were accused of cheating to kill the play.

announced by the tahs now. both great re-signings, and both a key to retaining Izzy as well from what Fairfax tells me.

    Waratahs 2013

one thing to keep in mind is that the players often buy fake followers in order to boost their marketing appeal. in response to the last question, Force have 8500, Chiefs at 17,000, rebels 11,700, stormers 49500 (!), reds 24,000, Kings 4,000, and brumbies about 14,000 as well

There's a great line by Bill Bryson, which (paraphrasing) goes: "the Sky Tower in Auckland is all anyone there would talk about. While an impressive building, it is not even close to the tallest building in the world, however it is taller than any building in Australia and that is why the Kiwis...
