The arrogance of the guy to think he will just waltz back into the Wallabies in 2027 We need to start building a team for 2024 now, I see no point in playing him next year and then throwing someone like Toole into the fire in 2025 and then complaining if he struggles If Mark wants to play...

We are trying to build a team for a Lions series and a World Cup, why include a guy that wont be there and doesn't really want to be here anyway And what message does it send to the players loyal to Australian Rugby?

    Australian Rugby / RA

I wouldn't include either, but comparing a 30 year old veteran like Marika that has given his best years to the Wallabies to a 23 year old that used rugby as a step ladder to get to Bondi is apples and oranges

    Wallabies 2024

You're right, but no point having players involved that don't want to be there

He shouldn't be included in the Wallabies next year

Toole has match winning ability, you can’t teach pace like that Really looking forward to seeing Gamble this season. He was kicked around last year by a coach trying to play musical chairs, but with a full season at 7 I’m expecting him to show his world class

People keep saying Valetini is good, but I genuinely can’t remember the last time he actually broke a tackle. And considering ball in hand is supposed to be his strength, that’s a bit of an issue

    Brett would love it

The one and only Wallaby Coach thread

I guess it will come down to who Brett Clark likes the most

But we were told this had nothing to do with centralisation

Looking forward to the instant success now he’s gone

Marky Mark (Nawaqanitawase) hasn’t gone anywhere yet, at the salary cap nonsense is pie in the sky stuff that would cause more problems than it solves for the NRL

And all of these can and will still happen These are clubs, Not the NRL as a whole or the ARL

They undermine their whole argument by saying that on one hand elite mens rugby isn’t that important but at the same time his involvement in their failure is the only tangible reason that they want him to resign And they are singling out Sua’ilii, as he’s the only player that has been poached...
  16. Tomthumb

    Australian Rugby / RA

Wait, so they want him to resign because of the Wallabies performance at the World Cup, yet are also complaining about the Sua’alii signing as the Wallabies “are only a small component of our national game” was this written by a teenager?
  17. Tomthumb

    Australian Rugby / RA

Haha yes they say that now, but if they manage to get him out and replace him with one of their stooges, centralisation will go the same way as Scott Johnson

    Wallabies 2023

This is bang on. I'm getting a bit sick of everything around Australian rugby being blamed, except the players themselves. They are ultimately responsible for the amount of time they spend on their craft The best performers in any sport are always self motivated to be the best

    Wallabies 2024

The great Dave Rennie touted Tom Wrights rugby IQ many times

    Wallabies 2024

Funny thing is he has shown a lot of talent for the position at Super Rugby level If he went overseas for a couple of years we would all be talking about him as a star fullback
