I enjoyed that more than i should have!

Digby Ioane with suspected broken hand

Mitchell looked the goods against Canada. If he's not gonna be right against Ireland, when will he be this world cup? The man was the form Australian winger before his injury, lest we forget it. Hopefully Diggers comes right before the knock out stages. Poor lad must be devastated.

Looked like it would have hit an extended post to me.

    Again short advantage by Barnes.

South Africa v Wales match thread

Roberts is all class. Davies is a bit of a plodder.

South Africa v Wales match thread

Why did Barnes blow up after such a short advantage? I hate it when refs do that.

USA v IRE - Match Thread.

That was a disappointing let down by the Americans there. Poor restar and terrible box kick led to the try.

    RWC - Wallabies v Italy - 11th September 2011

Wallabies been by far the better team. Should be OK in the second half. Nonetheless, Roland has been atrocious. Failed to spot the Italian cheating following Pocock's run for instance. Still, if we dealt better with their box kicks, we wouldn't be in this position.

England vs Argentina - Live chat.

Foden impressive, Armitage out of his depth.

    Live Chat Japan France!

Was more impressed with both halfbacks to be honest. Endo (14) and Tamagutchi (19) also very impressive.

I believe the test was also shown on free to air.

    John Eales Medal

And yet there were some on here suggesting he should be dropped... It's been a great pleasure to see his rise from prodigious schoolboy to the John Eales Medal winner. He's had vocal detractors from as early as 15 years old. They claimed he was over-hyped and that he wouldn't make it in the big...

    Quade Cooper

Love almost everything about his game. My key concern is his defence. I disagree with all the apologists - he is the worst defender I have seen playing top flight rugby in the professional era. It shouldn't be hard to rectify, being clearly down to attitude, but I suspect it will not be...

Wallabies Backline for the world cup.

It's been said before, but I don't think there is enough midfield penetration / creativity with a combo of Ant and McCabe. One or the other, please. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) back to 13 (he played very well there last year) unless Horne stays fit and lives up to the hype. Mitchell to wing, JOC (James O'Connor) to bench. Goal kicking...

What to do with JOC (James O'Connor)?

Think Barnes and Horne will be in the mix as well.

What to do with JOC (James O'Connor)?

Must admit I am really not a fan of Barnes at ten for the Wobs. He is far too conservative in attack. Think he is quite suited to 12 though.

The picture is Samo's first bust, which did not lead to a try.
