New Zealand vs Australia - Bledisloe 2, 24th August 2013

As an aside, Kearns rightfully cops stick for being a one-eyed cheerleader, but how about some mud for Greg Clarke? His job is to call the play, yet he constantly gets players' names wrong, including calling one of the Wallabies Israel Dagg. He's also clearly visually impaired. He suggested...

New Zealand vs Australia - Bledisloe 2, 24th August 2013

Sipper - good while it lasted Moore - just awful. Ineffective at the ruck, penalty and error magnet. Woeful set piece. Alexander - is he really the best tight head we have? Simmons - inconspicuous but sense that he was ok Horwill - better performance, shit captaincy Fardy - good, but still well...

New Zealand vs Australia - Bledisloe 2, 24th August 2013

Mogg deserved to ride the pine for no reason other than his feeble 'attempt' at tacking Smith.

Deans did win his first test against NZ... Oh how those were times were filled with some much hope and optimism...

Where did we go wrong? Wallaby Recovery thread.

Front row were OK, hower I cant help but feel Benny Alexander is not a long term solution at 3. Horwill hasn't come along as hoped. I wonder if previous injuries have taken their toll? Simmons on the other hand played his best match in a wallaby jersey. Hooper was best on ground, while the...

Aus vs NZ - 1st Test Sydney 17Aug2013

Does Kuridrani have much experience on the wing?

Aus vs NZ - 1st Test Sydney 17Aug2013

If Mogg is a flop, then surely Folau goes to fullback? Kuridrani would then go to 13 and AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) wing. I don't think Cooper or AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) are great 15s, albeit for different reasons.

Wallabies Squad - the Link Era

Please leave AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) where he belongs - 13.

2013 Super Rugby Final - CHIEFS v BRUMBIES

Chiefs too good. Looked much more dangerous with the ball. George smith was outstanding. White had a mare, while Mogg had an unceremonious finish.

2013 Super Rugby Final - CHIEFS v BRUMBIES

White needs to get the hook.

2013 Super Rugby Final - CHIEFS v BRUMBIES

He hasn't had his best night tonight. Decision making in particular has been poor. He's still generally better than Phipps.

    Non-partisan views

The last point is very fair and well taken. I'm more than happy to admit that I don't watch every game of soup involving an Aussie team. That would be more than excessive in my view.

    Non-partisan views

The latest debate around wallaby squad selections has simply reinforced my view that provincialism, rather than objectivity, is the key driver of which side of the fence people will fall when it comes to a contentious selection. Accordingly, if only to rekindle some faith in rational analysis...

Wallabies Squad - the Link Era

No interest in trolling, however it strikes me as a very partisan selection. That and Mike Harris, Whatever, they won't be in the 23. There are a lack of quality centre options in Oz, which is disappointing as this traditionally a strength. That said, Godwin and JOC (James O'Connor) could become great 12s.

Wallabies Squad - the Link Era

I'm sure this has already been covered, but why the fuck is Ant chosen ahead of Rob Horne? Aside from the obvious point the Ant plays for the Reds.

    Brumbies vs Cheetahs Prelim 2

It's easy to like the Cheetahs.

    Crusaders v Reds Prelim 1

    Reds completely outmuscled and outclassed.

Scrum also looking very shaky. This could blow out quite badly.

And yet there are several calling for wallaby selection. Liam F'n Gill has been fantastic though.
