I think these squads are just shadow squads in case of injuries. I think they have thrown in a few games so that those players keep some fitness rather than starting their off-season now which for some players involves more eating, drinking, travelling etc.

IMO it is not the 2 game rule. I believe it would be a injury/rest issue and they haven't been cleared by the Tahs.
