I haven't seen your video clip but can tell you that the actions of No 7 were deemed to be illegal and the reason for the penalty try.

    Sydney Colts - 2014

Unfortunately there are more games than referees so there are many double ups each weekend. With GPS comp starting this week and referee numbers quite low this year, there will be many more double ups before the season is done. One of the great challenges for refereeing associations is the...

NSW Rugby don't have the funds for First Grade communications gear, so this is unfortunately unlikely to happen.

    Shute Shield 2014

Agreed, the defensive lineout tactic was crazy.

    Shute Shield 2014

I thought Penrith were impressive. They are a very big side and will threaten some of the lower teams yet. Their lineout needs work and probably cost them this game. They lost a number of their own throws and conceded 3 tries to lineout mauls including the match winning try with a minute to go.

    Shute Shield 2014

This is really just preventative refereeing. Referees do it all the time. Players know that the referee is giving the player the chance not to get penalised. The hooker was probably defending in the back line. The "defending hooker" or man in the tracks is required so there is not an unfair...

Unforunately I don't believe there is a mechanism for an off-field retrospective yellow card.

That's your opinion which I can't debate as I have not watched it. A few of our fellow posters don't agree with you as they have said yellow.

    Shute Shield 2014

That's not what I am saying. I am saying that to cite a player it needs to have deserved a red card. Your refer to the Ed Gower incident (I assume), which deserved a red card despite not being penalised and therefore he was cited and suspended. Paul Martin said that the incident deserved a...
