Wallabies v Italy, Florence, Sun 13th Nov 12am AEDT

Yeah that’s a better description. He looked to get involved as much as possible too. Nice to see.

Maybe I’m desperately looking for positives, but I thought Mark N (Nawaqanitawase) looked really sharp on debut.

I only caught bits and pieces of the match. What happened?

I think Christy is great. What does it mean for rugby coverage at Fox?

Yeah. Could we have had Petaia there and Hodge on the bench.

On BPA, I recall reading an article awhile back where he talks about his decision to go overseas to maximise his earnings for his family while he can, but ultimately wanting to return to Australia and play for the Wallabies.

Wallabies v France, Paris, Sun 6th Nov 7am AEDT

All of my thoughts have already been said, but two quick comments: I was really worried Campbell was being thrown to the wolves with a starting debut in Paris so I’m really happy with how he stood up overall. I’m excited to see how he can kick on - it could be really nice having a good...

Yeah Tupou on Marchant in the 44th minute I think.

Appalling right before halftime from the Wallabies. Worst part was how utterly predictable it was.

Tupou monstered the French prop in that first scrum. Yahoo!

    Women's RWC

Both of those yellow cards for shoulder to head contact looked like reds to me. At least based on what we see in the mens game. Is more leniency being given?

Huh? Banks was involved plenty, they just generally weren’t great involvements. I thought he was ok though, minus a couple of clangers. The ball didn’t go Campbell’s way at all in those final 10.

Retalick loves that loaded shoulder ruck charge. Nice to see it actually get picked up for once.

Wallabies v Scotland, Murrayfield, Sun 30th Oct, 3.30am AEDT

All of my above comments are moot anyway as in recent years Scotland have been able to bash and disrupt our pack with far better aggression and accuracy, so as always that’s what it will come down to.

Not a bad team I guess, under the injury circumstances. Tom Wright very lucky, as always I just hope he has one of his good days. Like others, I think I’d have felt more comfortable with Hodge on the bench. I’m happy for Campbell but given there’s a bit of fullback cover I’d have been tempted to...

    Wallabies 2023

I was super impressed with him this season. Such a shame he got injured late. If he can light it up again in Super Rugby next year he could be a smokey. Huge potential.
