    The Boks A team

Still plenty of class in the Springboks but they should play Lambie somewhere in the 1st 15 as he is the Saffas version of JOC (James O'Connor). As for the Wallabies going there & winning I'm pretty confident we can repeat last years performance. Yes I do still rate this team & very highly. With Brussow...

    Western Force Infiltrating Joeys?

As long as the keep away from Quokkas we'll all be happy.

    Returns from injury

If they do I'd have them all in the starting 15 & then replace them after 30 minutes as TPN & Slipper being front rowers can come back on for injuries. And if Deans goes with a 5-2 spilt all series then we can afford to give Cliffy an early shower.

    Returns from injury

Burgess came on for Genia in HK when we were chasing the AB's & was brilliant he really lifted the tempo of the game for the Wallabies & definitely made a positive impact. No in 3-4 weeks he'll have a run for Randwick against Sydney Uni is the target match. Mitchell is in camp with the...

    Tri Nations Game 3 New Zealand v Australia - Saturday 6 August 2011 - 3N2011

Unless the Aussies get some injuries/ illness during training camp then it should be the same 22 as last Saturday. No idea on the AB's but they'll pick a different 22 for the Boks & Aussies. Henry usually mixes things up even if it is just 1 or 2 slight tweaks.

    Defending the rolling maul

Yeah I think contesting the lineout 5 metres out isn't a bad idea especially when you know they are setting for a rolling maul but if you don't spoil or disrupt the lineout it's almost certainly try time. Last time I saw that was Justin Harrison @ Twickers 2004 & he did win the lineout...

    Defending the rolling maul

I remember the All Blacks (Jason eaton) scoring off a rolling maul against the Wallabies in 2006 from about 30 metres out. I know that was a while back but they still pulled it out of the hat. I disagree with that & think it's a real dark art of the game that takes a lot of power & skill to...

Wallaby tight five - boys or men?

That's why Deans has kept him as tighthead rather than Kepu as I believe that Deans will drop Alexander for Slipper when he returns & leave kepu as loosehead.

    Defending the rolling maul

After watching the Boks game again I think this is an area the pack really struggled & it actually cost us 10 points which is pretty alarming considering the Boks only formed 4 during the 80 minutes. I'm sure this something they will work on while in camp but I'll be pretty nervous anytime...

    Richie McCaw

Well we just won the mens 4 x 100 freestyle relay defeating a Phelps led US team, also an event we have not won in a decade.

    Richie McCaw

Did he steal their art whilst on his feet or did he enter from the side?

Benn Robinson Ruled Out for the 2011 Season with Injury

If Kepu can perform as good against the AB's as he did the Boks then we'd be crazy to rush Robinson back.

    Rob Horne

Horne is a real long shot for the RWC. I'm all for AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) to be our outside centre & he'll step up against the All Blacks as he always does in a fortnight. If AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) gets injured then Fainga'a would be the next cab off the rank.

    Tri-Nations Game 2 All Blacks V Springboks - 2011

I suppose the biggest headache for Graham Henry & co is who is left out. I think the forward pack against Fiji was pretty much full strength other than Reid & Thorn to come back in. As for the backs it's a pretty tough choice when it comes to selecting the centre pairing, wings & halfback...

Yeah I'm all for Barnes to be somewhere in the 22.

Diggers - Athlete or Rugby Player?

Diggers may have been like Drew Mitchell in his junior rugby days. Drew Mitchell never learnt how to kick because he was such a good ball runner that he just always took on the line.

    Tri Nations - AUS v SAF 23rd July 2011.

Agree a lot with what's been written on McCalman he just doesn't have enough impact on the game sure he does make his fair share of tackles but he's not driving anyone backwards or causing turnovers. I think it's time Samo or Higginbotham are given a start until Cliffy comes back.

    Pat McCabe

McCabe had a good game tonight against the Springboks but if I have a problem with his game is that he always looks for the inside ball when the space is on the outside. He needs to drop that habit if he is going to be a success outside Quade Cooper.
