Super Rugby Rd 2: Rebels v Hurricanes

The bloke would have the IQ of a plant, are you surprised he makes feeble excuses to try and defend is grubby behaviour? I’m not. The Canes should replace him as captain
  2. Rebel man

Super Rugby Rd 2: Rebels v Hurricanes

They waited too long to come to Melbourne in the first place

Super Rugby Rd 2: Rebels v Hurricanes

My take was the Rebels let themselves down. I felt when they were 7-0 up they should have taken the penalty it was easily kickable. Same when they were down 7-17. Same when Ardie was shown yellow. While I like the intent to score tries we need a more pragmatic approach at times. Ultimately the...

Super Rugby Rd 2: Rebels v Hurricanes

No he is the captain he has been yellow carded for grabbing someone from behind and throwing them to the ground a cowardly act to begin with. He is then threatening players after he has been sent off and shaping up to fight again. His behaviour was unacceptable he should have been shown red

Super Rugby Rd 2: Rebels v Hurricanes

Especially when it’s a kiwi ref. Doleman would have jumped on the Canes bus back to the hotel

Super Rugby Rd 2: Rebels v Hurricanes

Ardie is a fucking grub shouldn’t have been sent straight to the airport to get the early plane home. Disgraceful actions from a captain.

Damm that’s going to make it annoying as to get to. Was going to drive but I may have to get the train and have a few beers as you won’t get a park for love not money

Super Rugby Rd 2: Rebels v Hurricanes

Backing the Rebels in here. The crowd will be 90% kiwi with 3 kiwi sides in action and in the famous words of the great Teddy Whitten the Rebels will go out and ‘stick it right up em’

    Rebels 2023

True David played at Wests sorry, well you also answered my question as to why Glen isn’t playing so thank you

    Rebels 2023

Lukas Ripley and David Vaihu were two shining lights for us last year. Had break out years and now they can’t make the 15, not sure what’s going on. I know Vaihu played mainly 11 and now we have Monty there but there is the right wing.

    Rebels 2023

I would go with that high weight and low reps
  12. Rebel man

    Wallabies 2023

Yeah it’s a bit of a joke, the Vic government paid the kiwi sides to move a home game here. So last year they were all home games for them. Now this year they are they away teams. So they pocket the cash and don’t lose a home game. Where as this counts as one of the rebels home games and they...

    Wallabies 2023

Look there is a core group of storm fans but there are a hell of a lot of casual fans. The club would be able to get by off the die hards but the casual fans help their bottom line for sure

    Wallabies 2023

I agree with you, just pointing out that the Storms support would quickly dry up if they stopped winning. But seeings they make finals every year they will be right

    Wallabies 2023

The Storm have started to grow the pathways here.
  16. Rebel man

    Wallabies 2023

People jump on the Storm as soon as their AFL team is out of the finals race. Because the Storm win every week and people like a winner. Most have no clue about the game of league
  17. Rebel man

    Wallabies 2023

Hard to say, there are more junior clubs than when I played but I hear senior numbers are struggling a bit so I don’t know

    Wallabies 2023

It’s just where to place you logistically. Sydney comp or Brisbane comp? Our would it be better to say have another 30 contracts to hand out and then spread that talent through the local comp there to help that? I don’t know the answer.
  19. Rebel man

    Wallabies 2023

I think it’s different if one is a professional outfit and the other remain in a proper club comp.

    Wallabies 2023

I think that is our best option going forward. You could use the PE money to potentially expand those comps too. Understandably I don’t have the greatest knowledge of the state of the game in Queensland. But would it be viable at all to look to add a regional team to get the competition to 10...
